Chapter 16: CODE RED 2!

Emily's POV

Dad was planning on something, but I didn't know what. I peek behind some inventions and look around. My dad runs into me.

"Emily quick act like you've kidnapped me." He said.

"What why?"

"Just do it." He said hopping in the basement.

Roxanne runs towards me with a yellow gun.

"Emily." She growled, "What have you done with Bernard?"

"Trapped him. Took him away from you." I said, trying to sound evil.

"Let me out!" Screamed my dad banging on the door.

"Let him go!" She demanded.

"Or what?"

"Or I'll see what this weird looking gun does." She answered.

I roll my eyes and go into the basement.

Megamind's POV

Emily walks in and grabs me, "Get her outta here."

I pop out and hit the wall.

"Bernard are you okay?" Roxanne asked.

"Yes. I tried my best, but I just can't hit a girl." I said, "Let me carry that heavy gun for you."

"I got us covered." She said.

Emily jerks the gun out of Roxanne's hands and she releases the shoot button.

"Oh no!" We yelled.

It bounces off the walls until it flies into the pipes. We then hear a male scream in pain.

"Oh boy." I whispered.

Emily runs away and Roxanne and I run outside. A fat man (Peter Griffin lol jk) with red hair was on the ground groaning in pain.

"Hal are you alright?" Roxanne asked.

"Yeah. I think a bee flew in my nose that's all. Who's that?" He asked pointing at me.

"Oh this is my partner." She answered.

Partner? I'm her partner?

"Yes. Yes, partner-"

"Look partner. I'm her partner. Don't try doing anything because I was her partner first." He said.

"I better get him home. Thanks again Bernard." She said and hugs me.

They drive off and I smile softly.

"Sir? Are you there?" Minion asked on the walkie talkie.

"DAD!" Emily yelled on the walkie talkie.

"Get the car." I answered.
