Ellie smiled as they sang happy birthday to her. She let out a soft laugh and then made a wish, blowing on the candles on the icing covered cake. She couldn't help but let out a gentle laugh as they whistled a little when she blue out the wax candles. She had turned sixteen and that meant a whole new adventure would begin for her. The girl's blonde hair was pulled back out of her face and she wore light colored jeans with her oversized black sweater that said the word "New York" on them. She wore her red converse sneakers to match.

"Happy Birthday, El," Freya said with a warm smile as she gave her friend a small side hug. She let out a soft chuckle and smiled as they started to cut the cake. Ellie smiled and she looked to her raven haired friend, hugging her back gently. Freya had on a navy blue skirt with a gray colored sweater and black tights with her gray flat shoes. Her black hair was curled nicely and she wore a nice necklace that Bucky had gotten for her.

"Thanks, Freya," Ellie said with a grin as she got herself a piece of the delicious looking piece of cake. She grabbed a fork and smiled softly as she walked over to the table, sitting down with her Asgardian friend. The blonde girl chuckled softly as she watched little Rosalind run tp Freya with her little piece of cake and the metal armed soldier followed behind the young girl with his own piece and a glass of milk. He had a thing for drinking milk.

Freya smiled and she gave Barnes a small peck on the cheek before she got a piece of cake onto her fork and took a bite for the yummy baked good. They had things like this in Asgard and to be honest the cake there was much better. She enjoyed the sweet treats such as cakes and cookies. Sweet things were always the best things. They were absolutely delicious. She loved the sweetness of the vanilla icing and the taste of the vanilla cake.

At the moment, everything seemed peaceful and happy since it was a good day. Yet a few miles away, a dangerous threat had been set free from his icy tomb. The group of people didn't know about the monster that was making his way there now to finish what he had started. The blonde copy of the captain was getting closer to the farmhouse with every step he took. He had changed his clothes and fixed his hair. He had been asleep for a few months so he believed it was time to come out of the ice. Well it wasn't him that had decided to open the chamber. He had made a lovely new friend and he was rather happy about it.

Ellie smiled as everyone finished their cake. The sun was setting outside and she couldn't help but smile as she watched the glowing sun begin to set and allow the moon to take its place. She let out a gentle sigh as she collapsed on the comfort of the couch. She heard Tony let out a soft chuckle as he entered the room with a bottle of beer in hand. Steve and Sam came in with their own beers and took their seats on the couch. Ellie smiled as she looked over to Freya, who was already up and she walked over to Tony, taking the beer bottle from him to keep him from getting drunk on Ellie's birthday. She knew that Steve couldn't get drunk thanks to his special serum.

As night became to come closer and the day was almost at an end, Freya had put Rosalind to bed so she could get some rest. The group all hung out downstairs talking about random memories of the past. It was amazing how far the group had come. They had first all met when Loki had taken the Tesseract. Well besides the fact the Tony and Natasha had met prior to that and Natasha had already been friends with Clint. So some of them had known each other before the whole mess with the battle and fighting against those aliens that were Loki's Army. It was nice talking about the old memories that the team had shared. Before Civil War, everything had been fine but yet everything came back together after Civil War when Freya and Ellie showed up. They had practically pulled the team together at a time like that.

While the team was talking, a small metal orb was thrown in through the window. The group froze and looked over, seeing that it was a grenade. Yet it wasn't any normal grenade. The metal orb went off, releasing a knock out gas into the air. The group coughed and covered their mouths as the gas seeped into their lungs. Sam had been the first to pass out from the gas that made his vision go blurry and fuzzy before he finally hit the floor. Steve was trying hard to fight against the gas to keep himself awake but yet, he found himself hitting the wooden floorboards rather quickly.

Ellie covered her mouth with her shirt as she tried to breath. Her vision grew fuzzy and she rushed to the front door for fresh air. Freya followed close behind her friend as fast as possible so they could get out and let some fresh air into the farmhouse. As soon as Ellie opened the door and stumbled out, she felt two arms wrap around her and her blue eyes widened a little as a cloth was placed over her nose and mouth. She inhaled the chemical and her eyes rolled back before she collapsed in her captor's arms.

Freya had seen what happened and once her vision began to clear, she rushed at the man who held her friend's limp body in his arms. Freya went to punch the attacker but she felt something stab her in the neck. She looked to her neck and her fingers wrapped around whatever it was. She yanked it out and looked to it as her vision grew fuzzy once more. She stumbled forward a little as her world began to spin.

"Nighty Night," the blonde man said with a small smirk as he headed over to the car with Ellie. He laid her into the trunk and then closed the back, locking it before getting into the car himself and driving off just as Tony had found his way out. The billionaire saw Freya on the ground and he didn't see Ellie anywhere. He watched as the car took off down the dirt path and he clenched his fist at his sides as he watched the dust create a cloud, blocking the car from his vision. He couldn't get the plate number.

After a few hours, Ellie had finally opened her eyes and she found herself in a room that was almost like a cell. She looked to her hands and noticed that chains were around her wrist. She followed the chain and found it hooked to the stone wall. Her heart dropped and she felt a pang of fear in her stomach. She heard the sound of footsteps and she didn't dare turn around. She swallowed a little and slowly turned her head, seeing the monster that Zemo had created.

"Did you miss me?"
