Michael was hopping a plane the very next day from Los Angeles,California to Washington D.C.

It was shocking to him why Marissa would choose such a... different place to restart her life.

Suddenly, Michael's PI called.

"Yes?" Michael answered as he boarded the plane.
"I just want to warn you. It seems like Lincoln has some minor anger management issues" The PI explained.
"What do you mean?" He swallowed.
"They're having breakfast at IHop and Lincoln really caused a scene when they confused their order. Marissa asked him why are you like this and he went off on her too. She grabbed the child and left." The PI spoke.
"Where is she now?" I asked.
"She's buckling Lauren into her car seat"
"I'm on my way, do not lose sight of them, understand?"
"Yes, sir"

Marissa waited patiently for her boyfriend in the car and looked around meanwhile. She was used to Lincoln's shenanigans she just hated how he never tries to stop himself.

Less than half an hour later, Lincoln finally enters the car and begin driving.

"I'm sorry" Lincoln said after a while.
"You're always sorry" Marissa mummbled.
"It's not something I can control"
"You scared her Lincoln"

Lincolns expression soften as he looks at his daughter through the mirror. Her wet, red face showed she was crying.

"I'm sorry Bunny" Lincoln said.

He hated scaring his daughter but it's become something so frequent.

"I'm going to seek help... I promise" he admitted.

The drive home was quiet and short. The family lived in a small two bedroom home. The outside was painted a light yellow while the inside was multicolored.

When you first enter, theres the kitchen to the left and the living room right in front of you. There are two hallways, one on the left of the living room and the other on the right.

One had the rooms, the other a bathroom and closet space.

Lincoln parked the car and they all made their way towards the home. On the front step laid a batch of Marissa's favorite flowers; purple Crocus.

Lincoln eyed her suspiciously as she picked them up and smelled them.

"They're beautiful" Marissa smiled.

Her entire body went into shock when she read the tag.

I found you.

"Hello, I'm Michael, I wanted to focus on the education system for a college project and was just wondering if you have any teachers that could give me insight as to what it's like" Michael said to the woman at the front desk.
"Of course, anything for a Jones" The woman said noticing who he was.

He was Michael Jones, son of famous actors, playwrights, dancers, musicians, he had it all. Especially the looks.

"This is Marissa, she's the only one available right now. I'm also free" The woman said the last line was more of a flirt.

Michael eyed Marissa. She was a simple woman wearing a tight yet conservative white polka dot-like dress that reached an inch past her knee along with black flats. Her hair was simply up into a ponytail.

"I'll take her, thank you" he winked at the receptionist.

Marissa smiled at him and walked closely behind, unaware of who he was.

"First I'm just going to do a full body scan from the bottom up just stand straight and smile if you'd like" Michael instructed.
"Okay"

Slowly, Michael moved the camera from down to her feet, past her womanly curves, to her beautiful face.

Michael paused once he reached her face and found himself zooming in. She was the most beautiful thing he's ever laid eyes on.

Her eyes were a caramel brown, her nose was small and cute and her lips were begging him to kiss them.

"Are you done?" Marissa asked feeling a little uncomfortable.
"I- I'm sorry, lets try this again" He said.

This time, the camera went faster so that he wouldn't get distracted.

Marissa finished off with a smile and leaning her head to the left

Marissa finished off with a smile and leaning her head to the left.

"Perfect" Michael said, and he was not referring to the shot.

Marissa took a sip from her water and followed Michael towards another spot.

"Now, I want you to say your full name, age, occupation, and phone number" Michael said.
"I-I don't want my phone number to go public" Marissa said.
"It's only going to be shown in my class" Michael assured her.

Marissa watched Michael count down from three using his fingers and took a deep breath to begin.

"Hello, I'm Marissa Costello and I'm a 20 year old third grade teacher." Marissa paused and then said her phone number.

Even her voice was heavenly.

"Nice" Michael said. "Now, are you hungry?"

Marissa smiled.

"Very"

Marissa didn't know what to thank of Michael. He was funny but he wasn't the brightest when it came to civilian issues.

"I'd like to take you out sometime" Michael admitted.
"Just call me whenever" Marissa smiled.
"Tomorrow night?"
"Maybe"

Michael smiled and helped her up from the booth.

"What about your project?" Marissa asked while Michael placed his jacket over her.
"It can wait" he said.

The pair walked outside and Marissa completely passed Michael's car.

"Where are you going?" He asked.
"The bus"
"I'll take you home"

Marissa shook her head quickly.

"I don't want to be a bother." Marissa yelled over the thunder.
"Get in" Michael demanded.

Marissa shook her head as rain began pouring.

Michael quickly grabbed an umbrella from his car and brought it to her.

"I always go home this way" Marissa admitted.

They were only inches away from each other under the same umbrella. A tiny step foward and they would touch.

"I'll see you tomorrow night" Marissa said placing a lingering kiss on Michael's cheek and turning to walk away.

"Bye" Michael whispered.
