"Aii!" (Y/n) yelped, her eyes shot open and her breathing was rapid. Her palms were sweaty and she felt heavy. A death-feeling headache made way to her and all she felt was utter pain. Groaning in pain, she tried to move her limbs. But her legs ached, and one felt very horrible, however it was wrapped rather sloppily in a dirty cloth. Her arms felt like pounds she were holding weights. Once things became clear, she realized she was in the woods. Her back against a thick tree and dirt beneath her. "Damnit, why do I always end up in these woods?" she muttered, rubbing the temples on her forehead.
Her eyes really shot when she noticed what was in front of her. "What the hell?" she mumbled hoarsely. She observed what she was seeing. A tunnel. She never seen it in the woods before, never knew of a tunnel where she lived, then again she never went really into the woods. Despite her painful and nerve wracking headache, she tried to focus on every detail. It was tunnel made of cement and had an eerie feel. "You know what? Right now I'm useless," she sighed. "I will not be useless now."
She dragged herself against the tree upward so she would be on her feet, since getting up the normal way was too painful. "Just deal with it, (Y/n), you can do this," she told herself as she started using her legs to walk. "Fuck!" she hissed as her injured leg tried to do a single movement of walking. She hissed as she did it again and again, now walking and sucking up to the agony. Walking to the tunnel.
(Y/n) was one to question things and wonder and get confused easily, however, now she was passing this off as something she didn't want to deal with knowing. Knowing who took her was on her mind, but hardly.
As she made her first step into the tunnel, she stopped and leaned against the wall. A load of weight suddenly went upon her shoulders. An uneasiness came over her and she debated on not going into the tunnel, despite her only being one step into it. (Y/n) took more steps, biting her lip at each step of excruciating pain. Each step she felt more enclosed and the space become thinning almost. She wasn't halfway through the tunnel before something occurred. "Ahh!" she shrieked as she had felt something touch her shoulder. Instantly, she regretted being freaked out as she fell to her knees. "Fuck!" she repeated as she rolled to her side and grasped onto her leg. Taking deep breaths she wanted to just cry from the agony. Her eyes were wide, searching everywhere to find the source of what had touched her. Yet, she closed her eyes and gripped on the searing pain in the leg.
Instantly as she had closed her eyes, that familiar mental noise. Static. (Y/n) felt herself seem to drown in the static. And desperately wanted it to end and tried to cover her eyes, knowing very well that it does nothing. Everything seemed to be in pain. The floor didn't seem so solid and began to feel wet and squishy. (Y/n)'s (e/c) eyes shot open, and everything that happened felt so unreal as it dissipated, leaving a agonizing headache. The static was no more. Her lungs felt so out of breath that she swore her heart paused for more than a few seconds. As she began to feel more aware to the environment, she let herself fall apart and sulk. Tears streamed from her sore eyes and everything ached.
"Dad, I'm sorry.... I'm sorry... I swore I was going to be that excellent person the world wanted and needed... I... I... I did shit I never imagined I would even think of doing. My life's utter shit," she sobbed and looked upward at the dark, cloudy sky and reached her hand out. "Please, Dad... Please forgive me."
She sulked in her pity as she was lied in the dewy grass that was in a small clearing in the woods. It felt so repeated. Everything she strived to be as a kid went to crap so fast.
"(Y/n), what are you doing out here?"
"Waiting."
"Waiting for what?" Tim asked as he handed held an umbrella over her slump figure.
"Waiting when life seems better," (Y/n) mumbled. Tim frowned, "Here, I'll drive you home."
(Y/n) was on the verge of protesting, but decided against it. Wordlessly, she got up as Tim opened a car door for her and she got in. Once Tim was in the car, he asked, "Listen, I can't control him. I don't know what happened last night. Something had happened, I woke up at home on the floor and a horrible dream. Did they hurt you?" he inquired, concerned written on his face.
(Y/n) tried to not start weeping again, "Alex did. That fucker."
"What the hell did he do!?" Tim asked angrily all of a sudden.
"Calm. Down. I don't need you angry. I was in the woods at night, and got pushed by Alex down from a ledge. Feel's like my leg is fractured- right now it's numb as shit after that walk. And then jackass with a red frown comes up and beats Alex down and I'm fairly certain your other fucking half put chloroform to my mouth and everything went blank from there," she rushed her words and then remembered, "Oh and I was put in front of a fucking tunnel."
"What tunnel?" Tim asked, his words a bit slow.
"Don't know where it is, to be honest, I tried to go into it and everything went painful and I heard.... Heard static and then I was in a woods clearing. And walked it here."
"I'm sorry," Tim said, his voice shaky again and his eyes looked weary and looked as if he could cry at any moment. It broke her heart. "I wish... I wish I was there to protect you..."
"Tim. It's alright. Everything's fine."
"No, how's is people kidnapping you fine!?"
"Tim, don't get attached to me, alright? I won't be here for long! So, stop!"
Tim confused and reluctantly said, "You aren't going anywhere. Don't talk like that. Please."
"I promised myself, Tim, I'm avenging my brother!"
"Promise me you'll be okay?"
She didn't answer.
"(Y/n), I'll just be frank with you, I like you, it's clear that I care about you! I don't want to risk losing you!"
She didn't reply and so that the was the last thing said until they arrived to her home.
"Thanks, Tim," she forced a smile as he helped her out of the car, knowing her leg was hurt. Then she let herself walk and began walking to her front door.
"(Y/n)," Tim called out as he came walking side by side to (Y/n).
"Yes?" She replied, looking up at him. He didn't say anything but wrapped his arms around her and she did the same. Tears pricked her eyes, but she felt too weak to even cry. He broke the hug and stared at her, concern still written in his dark eyes. "Stay alive, please. Stay safe."
