(We gone far with this story! Thank you!)
(Y/n)'s shoes dragged across the parking lot of the motel. Across the wide, empty highway.
"I won't drag you down, Tim," she mumbled to herself as if Tim was there. However, he was not there. He lied sleeping, unknowing of her ventures. "You got your own problems and I got mine." She wouldn't deny it, she never wanted to do this. Tim, he deserved a good life, for he was a good man. (Y/n) had feelings for him. Love? Perhaps. One thing that dug into her and it's reality stitched perfectly, permanently. (Y/n), to herself, knew she wasn't a good person. Tim, loving and joking, nothing seemed to haunt him, despite knowing and always dealing with it. (Y/n), paranoid and reckless. She didn't find it a great match.
If I'm found, I'm in jail- no doubt there, she thought. Tim didn't need jail, he didn't do anything. He was a good man.
"I fucked up, surely?" It seemed more of a question. "Can't go back, either way." Despite her only being across the highway from the motel. It felt like a step. A step of independence. She was on her own now.
"Leave everything behind," she mumbled those words like it was poison edged at her tongue. Turning around, facing the motel. Her eyes stared intensely at the door that would open to an oblivious Tim. Cringing as the slight sound of sirens that was at least a mile down the highway. (Y/n) focused on the dark, never ending field of tall grass and dark skies.
As she walked, everything was numb. The tall grass that swayed against her thighs and the darkness clouding her vision. "I'm infected. Another infected I suppose. Tim's infected. Alex's infected. We all see it. Or are we crazy? Insane perhaps."
"Glad to see you," a voice a few yards in front of her spoke. There was no introduction needed.
"How did we become crazy?"
"Crazy? We never became crazy" The voice responded. "We were born into a world of evil and dismay. We see more then others. They don't know anything."
"How could you be right? Crazy, we're murderers. That itself, admitting it, is just crazy."
(Y/n) stepped further so she was in front of the one with the voice. "You're safe. Everything's fine." It was a calm side she never truly seen before.
"Everything isn't fine, Alex."
"Then let me make it fine."
(Y/n) rolled her eyes, "See you in two months." She pushed Alex to the side as she was soon engulfed in darkness.
*Three months*
(Y/n) tried to wash a blood stain from her casual shirt as she tried to erase a stained image of Alex that embedded her mind. Tim had done it. He had every right to. She knew he was defending himself. Alex went... Overboard. He killed more than she knew. Tim's friends. (Y/n) covered a hand over her mouth. She felt awful. She was never going to feel happiness it seemed.
Last week, when Alex promised to have meet her, he had not shown up. So, she paranoid and worried, looked for him where he may be. One building. She found her first intruder lying on the ground where above was an open window. The first intruder who she saw first, when it all started. Lying without his mask that she despised. Already a very unsettling feeling was coming over her when she went to investigate inside. Another man, she knew to be Jay in a when she saw the Entries. Then Alex. Despite her hatred, her want to slice out his guts and feed them to wolves, she felt a great sadness. The deed she wished herself to do, was already done.
Tim, she hadn't seen him since she left the motel. In the motel that night, she wrote her note. A note that consisted of why she was leaving. None of it was true. All it was, was saying that she couldn't handle this and she was going to run off.
He probably given up on her. Searching, she knew he searched. However, she had no heart to come to him.
Now, (Y/n) lied, scrubbing angrily at the blood-stained shirt in the small cabin. Deep in the woods, far from Rosswood. "This is tiring!" she yelled. "Why am I here! Always in hiding! I'm alone! I'm scared!" She crumpled and stopped and sobbed. "I need... Someone." Someone to talk to, someone to interact with. Someone to love? Tim.
Hours passed as (Y/n) drove to Tim's house. However, disappointed and numb, the home was burnt down.
Where had he gone? She missed him. She shouldn't have left.
So she drove. Drove far. Half of her wanted Tim. Half of her wanted to break down and leave everything behind. Her eyes could barely concentrate on the road anymore. Her vision blurry of tears. "I'll stick with you, Tim. Where are you? A-Are you dead, t-too?"
She drove further until the gas ran out and it was dark and everything was dead it seemed. Leaning against the car, she broke down and held herself.
A car stopped near hers on the narrow road. "Need help?" the faint voice asked as a car door opened.
"No, go the fuck away!" She practically yelled.
"Just trying to help," he asked, but his voice sunk as he stared at her.
(Y/n) noticed that he stood there, staring. Looking at him, despite the darkness, the moonlight shown on the floof of black hair and a flannel.
Or perhaps it was her blurry vision.
(Done. Done. Done. Hope you liked the ending. I spent days trying to find a practical ending without it being too cliché and really off the plot of Marble Hornets. Here it is! My first completed story!!!! Hope you enjoyed!)
