After a suicide attempt the suicidal person has to go into a psychiatric for circa three more month. And this is exactly what Ariana has to do. Inside the clinic she met a couple very nice people and they became a clique. Kind of a depressed and suicidal gang. Just like a suicide squad (btw the movie is amazing).
Today - three month later - she is going to leave the clinic and return to her normal life. Of course many things changed, she has new friends, a new style also but she is still the same girl, visiting the same school. (I am pretty sure, everyone know how Ariana Grande looks like, right now, and this is how she also looks like in this book)
