~Only a few chapters left in this book! I know it's short, but there will be a second book don't worry lol I hope it's as good as this one~

In the end Remus and I trailed Severus all the way to his office, but when we came into the potions classroom he had firmly closed the office door. It didn't budge when Remus tried the knob. I knocked softly but received no answer. Frowning, I looked at Remus.

"What do we do now?" I asked. He sat on the edge of a desk where I walked over to him.

"I suppose we wait for him to come out of his bat cave," he sighed. I smacked him in the arm earning a wince from him.

"Be nice," I scolded. He chuckled softly under his breath.

"He'll come out eventually." So we waited for over two hours. I was beginning to get dreadfully sleepy, and I could tell Remus was too. He kept dozing off and almost falling. Turning into a werewolf had to wear a person out.

"You can go to your dorm and sleep if you'd like. I'll wait to see if he's alright. I know you've classes in the morning," Remus offered considerately despite his own exhaustion. He must have noticed me yawning. I looked down and tugged at my hair.

"I'd rather not, my roommate will be asleep, and I don't want to be left to myself right now," I confessed meekly. Remus studied me carefully.

"Anything you'd like to talk about?" he asked. He was sitting on the corner of one table, and I was sitting on the corner of the table across the aisle from him. I sighed. I really did need to get it off my chest.

"I got a letter from my mum today," I started unsure what to say. "She said there's not enough room for me to come home for the summer so I've to find somewhere else to stay. The problem is; I haven't got anywhere else to go."

"You're friends won't let you stay with them?" he asked seeming genuinely concerned. I shook my head.

"They would, but there isn't a way. Allistor's leaving the country, and Lynx is already going to be sleeping on the floor her house will be so crowded..."

"What do you plan to do?"

"I haven't the foggiest," I answered honestly. I felt my face heat from the stress I was going through internally. I would most likely be spending this summer sleeping under a bench in a park somewhere.

"Here," he said pulling out a bar of chocolate and snapping it in half. I stood slowly and went to him. He handed me the chocolate and took some himself. I wondered how old he was. He must be about Severus's age, but he looked closer to thirty.

"Chocolate makes everything better." I smiled at his generosity and bit into the creamy chunk he had handed me. It was absolutely heavenly. I looked at Remus with wide eyes.

"Wow..." was the best thing I could think to say. His eyes twinkled at my response.

"It's imported," he said. "Maybe it will take your mind off things for a bit." My expression faltered. I still had to think of everything eventually. Tears burned under my lids, and I felt them start down my cheeks like acid eating away my self-assurance.

"Err, there, there," Remus tried to comfort me awkwardly. It failed miserably. He moved as if to pat my shoulder but thought better of it. "No need to cry. I'm sure things will turn out...just fine." I wiped at my eyes tiredly.

"I wish I could be that sure," I whispered. More tears fell silently, but I was starting to feel my composure slip. Remus looked unsure about what to do. He didn't know me and so was clueless about how to help. I felt guilty for not being stronger, but lack of sleep and stress was taking its toll.
