After I dismissed my work ay dumiretso na ako sa grocery store para maggrocery. I went to the vegetables area at kumuha ng fresh veggies doon. I'm planning to cook Chopsuey for dinner .
Ina-analyze ko talaga ang bawat gulay na gagamitin ko para mamaya. I know naman na walang okasyon mamaya but I just want to cook delicious food for my husband although I always cook for him tho.
Napasinghap ako ng mahulog ko ng cabbage na hawak ko at bahagyang gumulong ito kaya kinuha ko ito. Nanlaki ang mata ko ng may isa pang kamay ang kumuha nito "Here. " ngumiti nalamang ako at tumayo.
Namilog ang mata ko sa nakita. I almost caught my breath. I can see a big difference ! Big time!
"Hannah.."
"Cleft.."
We said in unison. I sighed deeply and smiled at him. Para na din mawala ang awkwardness namin ay lumapit ako sa kania and tiptoed to kiss his cheeks. "You look great.. I mean you're always great but you're greater than great" he chuckled. Napatawa na lamang ako. He seems confused.
"Yeah thanks, ikaw din. Ang gwapo mo!" I complimented him. I saw him blushed and looked away from me. "So, ano ginagawa mo dito?" I asked him suspiciously "Are you with some company?" I added.
Nginitian nia lamang ako "Nope, I'm all alone. Are you with.. him?" I saw sadness in his eyes. I swallowed hard "H-Hindi but.. we're finally okay now.." I smiled at him. Ngumiti na din ito pero bakas pa din sa mga mata nia ang pagkalungkot.
I know I've hurt him emotionally but It wasn't my intention. I told him to stop because he knew from the start that I love Chaos but he still interfered his life to me. "I'm h-happy for the both of you." he smiled pero hindi abot tenga.
"Thank you. Thank you na din dahil nandoon ka noong mga araw na di nia pa ako tanggap but we're okay now .... " I sighed deeply "Kahit hindi nia ako mahal.." I mumbled.
"No worries, I have to go now baka hinihintay ka na ni Chaos sa bahay nio. Bye" he planted a quick kiss on my forehead at dali daling umalis. Somehow I felt happiness inside me. I'm glad I felt him let me go.
Binayaran ko na ang mga pinamili ko then went out of the grocery and proceeded to our house. Pagdating ko sa bahay ay agad akong nagbihis para mailuto ko na ang aking mga pinamili.
Hinanda ko na ang mga rekados at pampalasa at mga gamit panluto.
I started to saute the garlic and onion then add pork meat and saute for 3 minutes until it turned brown.
I add the mushroom, carrots, sayote, beans. Afterwards add chicken broth cube, salt, black pepper, oyster sauce , mix well, add cauliflower, bell pepper, stir then add water so that it will be kinda sticky.
simmer for 5 minutes or until vegetables are cooked. Afterwards, put-in the cabbage then stir well.
After stirring it well, dilute the cornstarch in a half cup of evaporated milk then pour mixture in the pot then stir it well again.
Napangiti ako ng makita ang kabuuan ng niluto ko. Kumuha ako ng kutsara atsaka tinikman ang niluto ko and to be proud of, ang sarap ng niluto ko.
"Hmmm, bango ah!" napangiti ako at napatingin sa may pintuan ng kusina. "Haha, thanks! C'mon let's eat." pagyaya ko sakanya. He went near me and gave me a peck of kiss.
Naka three piece suit pa ito. Namilog ang mata ko ng may inilabas ito mula sa likod nia and in my shock I was a bouquet of sunflower. "For you.." napangiti na lamang ako at kinuha ito "Thanks, tara kain na tayo.."
Ngumiti lang sia atsaka umupo na. Deep inside me, nagtataka ako kung bakit sunflower when usually men's do give roses to someone. I shrugged that thought, I should be thankful for it.
Tahimik lang kaming kumakain ni Chaos, tanging kubyertos lang ang nag-iingay. Namilog ang mata ko ng may langaw sa papalapit sa pagkain kaya para akong baliw na pinapaalis ito.
Nakita ko pa ang pagkunot ng noo ji Chaos sa ginawa ko "What are you doing?" he asked.
"May langaw!" I mumbled atsaka pinaalis ulit.
"Silly, meron naman nito oh!" patawang sabi niya at nanlaki ang mata ko ng inilabas niya ang fly killer na pamalo at pinalo ito. Natawa na lamang ako dahil nagmukha siang baliw sa kakahuli ng langaw na di naman mahuli huli.
I burst out laughing. He looks like he just lost his sanity. "You're playing with me again tss." para itong batang naghiss. "Ang cute mo kasi eh!" patawa kong sabi.
"Stop it.." he said na may halong pambabanta kaya napatigil na lamang ako at ngumiti at tumuloy na sa pagkain.
Matapos kaming kumain ay agad ko nang niligpit ang mga ginamit namin. "I'll just change.." He said.
Before he could go out from the kitchen I called him "C..Chaos.." napalingon ito sa akin at tinignan ako as if saying 'Yup? anything wrong?'
"Thank you for the flowers." I then gave him my sweetest smile but he answered me with smile also.
Tatalikod na sana ito ng tawagin ko pa ulit "C..Chaos.." napalingon na naman ito sa akin and look at me with the same expression.
"Bakit sunflowers?" I've been wanting to asked him that question. I saw him na huminga pa ng malalim
"Because you're beyond ordinary, you're different Hannah. You're extraordinary" with that tears escaped from my eyes
