He stood out

He stood out. He looked the same, dressed the same, hung out with all the same sort of people but yet he was completely different. I'm twelve. He's eleven, but he looks much older. I made a few friends, and eventually, my brother, Mikey, became friends with him too. His name is Brady. Just us three go out onto the playground at school and just swing. The year is 2013. We talk about Tobuscus and Minecraft. After months of just hanging out, I started to fall completely in love with this boy. He was funny, he took the time to talk to me, I made him laugh. Sometimes. I generally enjoy being around him. He makes me so happy that it's starting to become all I want to do; hang out with him. Be with him.

Our school has some tournament for our PE class. I am now thirteen, he's thirteen as well, only a few months younger. Mikey was somewhere with my parents and I was with Brady. Of course, his annoying friend, Laney, was there. Showing us how cool it is to smash wolf spiders with her bare feet. Every joke Brady told or whatever he says in general gets me going. When the day ended, walking to the car to go home was hard, but watching him and Laney laugh and talk through the rear view mirror like I wasn't even there before, was even harder.
