Two or three years after the police incident, I had gotten completely over Brady. I mean, every now and then I'll think about him and the memories. The memories that once brought the biggest smile to my face, that now only bring tears.

My friend, Samantha, was at our house for my mom's birthday. The month is March and the year is now 2017. We're both bored so we get on Instagram to see who was live. My friend sort of friend Riley is live. She isn't really my friend, she's kind of just someone I know from school. Anyway, Riley is live and while we're watching it, I literally see Jack, Brady's brother and at first I don't recognize him but then Mikey grabs my phone and comments, "I LOVE YOU JACK." I take it back and say, "That was Mikey." Jack laughs and says,
"Oh God, I was gonna say, Maddie, geez." He says as Riley holds the phone. Suddenly, his username shows up in a comment. "Maddie you make me laugh." Riley says, or something like that, I don't really care at the moment. "Maddie? As in Maddie Moroney?" Brady comments.
"How do you guys know her?" No one replies.
Mikey looks at my phone. "Why does everyone spell our last name like that?" He asks, laughing. "We aren't morons." He adds.
"How do you guys know each other?" Is all I can think about. She has no clue. After that, Brady surprisingly didn't cloud my mind. I was over him. Actually over him.
