This is a few weeks after the Portal Two situation and of course, as always, it's around three in the morning. I text him first.

"I don't know, I don't really know you anymore." He says through text.
"Yeah. You're right. Well let's get to know each other then." I say.
"Ok."

The conversation about our lives goes on for fifteen minutes and all of a sudden, after a few texts before, I text him saying, "nah, I could tie you up, easy."
"But I'm stronger, I could just push you off." He replies.
"True, I guess. But you'd be tied up, so I guess you're strong enough to break rope now?" I say.
"This is starting to sound like rape."
"I don't even know how that happened, but you're right." I'm not laughing, but I send a laughing cat emoji anyway. "Yeahhhh." He says.
"And besides, if either of us were to tie the other up, it'd be me." He says.
"Why?"
"I dunno, I'm just stronger than you are."
"How do you know?"
".... you're Maddie."
I accept that as an answer.
"You're right." I say.
"Yeah."
We talk for a few more minutes before he finally says, "guess who I like." Remember that it's three in the morning and we're young, immature children. I don't know how to reply because I really have no idea. "I can't. Who is it?" I ask.
"Her name starts with an M and ends with an E." he replies. I know for sure it's me because, that's pretty freaking obvious. "Is it me...?" I ask.
"Yea."
"I like you too."
Neither of us reply after that. It started to seem like every conversation we had ended with either "I like you" or "I love you," but it doesn't matter, because I know that I absolutely, positively, have fallen in love with this kid... again.
