Ready.....FIGHT!!

No One's POV

The day they've all been waiting for has finally arrived. The preliminaries for the final part of the exam. They went straight to the arena after eating breakfast and, once everyone arrived, the rules were promptly explained. The match was to continue until a participant is ruled unable to continue, forfeits or dies. The names selected and put onto the board are completely random.

Everyone was to go up to the second level, but beforehand, Akane made sure to wish her newly met, 'hopefully-soon-to-be-friends', luck. She and Sasuke shared a silent look, she hugged Sakura and gave Naruto a fist bump. She went to the people who's lives she helped spare and wished them luck as well. Before heading back to her team she pulled the girl from before aside. "What is your name?" She asked the girl who shyly looked down.

"My-my name is Hinata Hyuga" She said and Akane told her name.

"Let's be friends." Akane said and Hinata blushed a bit before nodding. "Here. I want you to have this. It'll be really helpful this time around." Akane told her as she put a silver bracelet on her new friend's wrist. "Don't worry, it's not against the rules or anything to have it. It's not like it amplifies your strength but it will help you a lot. Remember though, it'll only work five times so don't wear it too much." She told her, "Good luck." She waved as she went over to her team, almost tripping on the stairs.

The exams soon began as the first name popped onto the board. Sasuke Uchiha against Yoroi Akado. There was a lot of ruckus as Sasuke was on the verge of losing, he won though with a move called the 'lion's barrage' and Akane was awe stricken. Afterwards, a Jonin stepped in and took him away. Next was Zaku Abumi against Shino Aburame. Their fight was also good and Shino was quite cunning as a matter of fact.

Many of the fight's were amazing and Akane couldn't help but laugh when Sakura and her opponent, Ino, knocked each other out at the same time. In the same way.

The scent of blood was filling the air which caused Akane to cough a bit but it didn't get really bad until her new friend's battle.

Akane's POV

"Alright Hinata! You can do it!" I cheered as she stepped into the arena. They both seemed to be using some kind of kekkei genkai. The fight continued for a while but I could tell she was losing. His hand didn't even touch her but she coughed and something red spilled to the floor. I felt a large throb in my chest. "Ugh" I fell to my knees coughing as I clutched the bars attached to the rail.

'Da-dang it... Stop it! Calm down!'

"Akane are you alright?!" Temari asked touching my back.

"*cough* I'm *cough cough* I'm fine. D-don't *cough* don't worry about it," I said, dropping to a sit. The fight was almost over and the more blood that came out is the worse she got, and no. I'm not talking about Hinata, but technically her too.

Hinata lost the match and was laid onto a stretcher to be taken out. Naruto and I hopped the rail, I kind of stumbled a bit on my way over to her. I placed her hands in a cross form, covering her heart and did a few hand signs while the others were focused on something else.

"Heal," I whispered and the bracelet began glowing a light green before she was quickly taken out.

I went back up and sat in the middle of Temari and Kankuro again taking deep, kind of raspy, breaths. Next is Gaara. His fight kind of surprised me if i'm being perfectly honest. Someone other than me was actually able to get past his sand, Gaara, however broke his arm and leg sending blood spraying everywhere which made her go nuts.

My chest felt like it was going to explode and I coughed harsher than before, my throat hurt a lot now, but I couldn't help but keep coughing.
