Chapter 21 (No one but Dwayne)

Dwayne's POV

It's been a week since that scenarion between Reu and Sandy happened.

At simula nun di ko na nakitang ngumiti pa si Sandy.

Naiinis ako.

Nanggagalaiti ako kay Reu.

Ipinaubaya ko na nga si Sandy sa kanya pero anung ginawa niya pinaiyak at sinaktan lang niya si Sandy.

Wala siyang kwenta.

This time di ko na pakakawalan si Sandy.

I'll take care of her.

Di ko na uli siya ibibigay pa kay Reu.

Never.

Papasok na ako ng school, hoping I would see Sandy's smiling face.

Pagpasok ko sa gate, nakita ko andaming tao.

May program na naman ba?

Nakita ko na ang hinahanap-hanap ng mata ko.

"Sandy."

"Dwayne."

Ngumiti siya pero alam ko pilit lang.

"Anung meron?"

"Ewan. Induction yata."

"Ah."

"Oh yung mga gustong kumanta diyan, at magdedicate ng songs punta lang dito sa stage."

Nagkaroon ako ng idea.

I need to make Sandy know what I'm feeling kahit hint lang, hindi mas maganda kung malaman na talaga niya.

"Sandy, sandali lang ha?"

"Ha? Bakit? San ka pupunta?"

"Basta." Tsaka ako nagsmile.

Naglakad na ako palayo sa kanya at palapit sa stage.

Kinausap ko yung vocalist nung banda.

Buti na lang alam nila yung kakantahin ko.

"Eherm. Mic check."

Dahil sa ginawa kong yun, lahat ng atensyon napunta sa akin. 

Kasama na dun si Sandy.

"Ahm this song I'm going to sing is dedicated to someone very special to me. Gusto ko lang malaman mo na, andito lang ako kahit siya ang mahal mo. Please understand the song for it contains words describing my heart." While looking at HER.
