Chapter 23: Battlefield

•Trish's POV•

Five men came out of nowhere, they surrounded us and based on the footsteps coming this way, there were more of them coming..

"Don't worry, I'll protect you.." Ben said as he stood in position to attack..

"Do I look like Superman's girlfriend.. I didn't put myself in danger to be saved by anyone.. I'm not weak!!" My eyes began to glow and my hair was shining as it float..
I looked outside through one of the windows at the dark sky.. The large open field at the front of the house..

I held Ben's hand tightly and pulled him closer to my body.. "Field.." I whispered.. Soon we were on the field..

Ben looked at me with wide eyes, "New power??" I nodded..

We started running towards the exit, but the entire house of rogues came after us.. Then I saw my pack running towards us, some in wolf form some in human form.. As we exited, I looked back and saw Henry shifting into his wolf form.. He's dark grey wolf looked directly at me before running towards me, killing everything in his path..

"Stay here!!" Ben cried before shifting in his wolf form and running towards Henry..
I looked around and saw Troy sitting on the grass, his eyes glowing.. He was using his power to make any enemy wolves that came too close die.. I searched the field and finally saw a black wolf with golden brown eyes fighting three wolves at a time, Nick..
I hate this, I hate seeing this.. Everyone is fighting to protect me and I'm just observing..

I ran up to a few enemies, since it wasn't hard to tell them differently, they had red eyes, plus I don't think they know about the invention of soap.. I stayed a good distance and gave them a headache that made them whimper in pain before they fainted.. I had to do it one by one, so I had to pay attention to my surroundings.. I heard a loud painful howling.. I looked over to Ben..

"Ben!!!" He laid on the ground whimpering in pain..

Henry held Ben by the neck and finished him off.. I fell to the floor, remembering Kevin's death.. I looked back at Troy that was getting extremely tired, he seemed as if he would pass out soon.. Nick was surrounded by few enemies, he was struggling to keep them away.. While the pack was going down, one by one.. My head feeling heavy, tears running down my cheeks.. I looked back over at Ben, his wolf hardly breathing.. I got up and I focused my powers on all that wasn't protecting me..

"Sleep.." I whispered.. They all froze before falling down, sleeping.. The pack members looked at me in shock.. I ran straight to Ben as he shifted back to human form..

"Ben!" I sat down beside his body, naked body.. "Don't worry I got you.." Tears made themselves present..

"Trish, I'm going to die.. Accept that..." He said harshly..

"Rude much??" I slapped him across the face and he cried out.. "If you die I'll never forgive you.."

"Promise you will remember me no matter what.." I nodded in agreement..

The pack stayed silent, few cried.. "My pack shall follow Alpha Nick and their Luna Trish..." He tried shouting.. "You listen to them, and protect your Luna.."

"Ben?" I claimed his lips, our last kiss..

We pulled away.. "I love you Trish, remember that.."

"I love you too Ben.." I kissed his cheek..

"I guess she's yours, just like before.. You get to mark her, mark her for us both.." Ben told a shadow that appeared..

"I will.. I'll take care of her, I'll make her happy.." Nick whispered behind me.. "I'll mark her for all three mates.."

"Good.. I'll hold you to it.. And tell Troy when he wakes up, that I'll miss him and also he need to tell her the truth.." He looked at me one last time before his heart stopped..

"Just like Kevin.." I whispered.. "I can't lose you too Nick.." I looked up at Nick..

"You won't.. I promise princess.." Nick replied.. "Question, how is Troy sleeping??"

"Because his power is worn out.. He need to rest to get back his energy and strength.." I stated..

"Oh.. One more thing I should probably confess.. I secretly wanted Ben to die.." He smiled guiltily..

"I don't hate you for that.. You thought he was competition.. But next time, keep your thoughts to yourself.." I warned.. It made no sense to cry, I've been crying since Kevin's death.. And now both of them made me promise to move on and smile, so I won't cry.. I'll cherish the memories.. My pack, Damn I never thought I would say that.. My pack killed all the rogues as they slept, Nick's orders.. He wanted no survivors.. Nick searched for Henry's body, but we couldn't find him, he was gone..

I guess no more kidnappings.. Thank god, they couldn't handle all this "Awesomeness."
