Chapter 24: Just One

•Trish's POV•

Christmas was over with and New year was near.. The pack house was being extended for the new members, so Nick and I were at my place along with Troy.. Nick was gathering enough strength to explain 'The Truth' to me..

"Come on! How bad can it be??" I asked as I placed my feet on my bed, folding them to sit properly..

"I didn't know about it, until after the kidnapping.." He stated.. "So you don't need to be mad at me.."

"You and Ben killed Kevin, an accident you both claimed, you secretly wished Ben's death and you're currently eating my ice cream.. I don't think I'll ever stay mad at you.." I laughed at my shirtless mate..

"Trish.. Your mom.. Sophie.. She's not your real mother.." Nick looked down..

"Your white ass thought I didn't know that??" I giggled.. "I know the story of my parents already.."

He looked surprised.. "How??" Troy said you had no clue about this, well he interpreted.."

"Well, of course I do.. Back at home, Jamaica that is.. My birth mom named Lisa got pregnant for a tourist.. The tourist was obviously visiting Jamaica and he met Lisa and they fell in love.. The tourist dude had to return to his country and promised my birth mom that he will return for her, but Lisa was hiding a secret from him.. She was engaged to someone, it was an arrange marriage.. She found out about her pregnancy and ran away until she had the baby, and gave the baby to her sister Sophie, which is my mom, before returning to the family.. Sophie moved to the US after a few years and raised her two kids, Jay and myself.."

"So what happened to Lisa??" Curiosity fill Nick..

"I'm not sure.." I stated the truth..

"She lives in England with her husband, and she calls Sophie every month to check if you are OK.." A voice said from the door way..

I looked over at a familiar wizard, "Troy? How do you know that??" I asked..

"Because I got in contact with Lisa after so long and found out about the baby.. She told me the baby was safe, that the baby was a boy.." He looked at me.. "But Ben's mate link led me to you.. The moment Ben asked me to find you, I realized we were family.."

"So??" I was shocked..

"I knew we were family, but I wasn't sure from which witch line.. Until I met you, the first time you used your powers when I was there, I felt the connection. I knew it was you.."

"Dad?? Your my dad!"

"I guess your not a boy after all.. I always wanted a girl.." He smiled..

"A girl!! You're my flipping dad and you tell me this now!!!" I was between anger, excited and confusion..

"I know how you feel, but-" Troy tried claiming me down..

"But you're my dad so you know it all!! Right??" Nick held me close to him, which weirdly claimed me immediately..
"I'm sorry, its just.. I've been looking for my father ever since I was a little girl and to hear my dad was here all a long, it's kind of shocking you know?"

"I know.. But if you ever want to see your mother, we can visit and surprise her.." He smiled.

"What about her husband??" I asked..

"He contacted me and told me its OK.." He chuckled..

"How??? Explain yourself.." Nick demanded..

"Lisa cannot have any kids, her husband got problems with his ding dong, still he found out about you and we end up being in contact after.."

"How long was this??" I mumbled..

"Few weeks back.. He want to surprise her for her birthday.."

"Which is??"

"January.."

"That's next month Troy!!" I shouted.. "What about mom and Jay??"

"I'll talk to your mom.."

"And Nick! I'm the Luna of two packs.."

"Nick is coming along, his parents will take over until you guys return, so??" He really thought his through..

"OK.. I'll think about it.. First I need to talk to Nick, so go downstairs and make dinner... dad." I smiled cheekily.. Troy went downstairs as I focused on Nick..

"Do you want to go?" Nick asked before I could say anything..

"I don't know, I'm not sure.. Should I??" I'm pretty sure I looked like a puppy titling my head to the side..

"Well, I think it will be good for you and her.. I'm sure there are things you want to ask her.."

"Yeah.. Sure.." There was a few minutes of awkward silence..

"Your birthday is in a few days! Nineteen the age of wild and free.." Nick said looking relaxed..

"Yeah, and yours coming the next few days too, twenty one the age that tells you that you're old.." I giggled..

"Wrong! Its the age of maturity.."

"Right.. Cause you can be so mature.." Sarcasm, never failed me yet..

"Haha very funny.."

"Oh, is the baby hurt??" I teased. "Let's go downstairs, I'm hungry.."

Surprisingly it never took long for Troy to prepare a meal since he used his powers.. But at least it was delicious..

"I just got one request if I'm going.." I stated..

Both men looked at me.. "That is??" They asked in unison..
