Macy's POV
"DAD! What do you even think you are doing?!" I shouted as I shoved him. I have never felt that angry at my dad before.
"MACY! What do you even think you are doing?! I'm your father and this kingdom's king! I need to make choices!"
I was about to punch him when my friends held me back.
Mum walked up to dad, holding his hand.
"It's for the best, sweetie. We can't let Clay or should I say...Latum be running around freely."
I screamed.
"MUM! I THOUGHT YOU TRUSTED ME! YOU WERE ALWAYS THERE FOR ME AND NOW YOU'RE NOT?! WHAT KIND OF MOTHER ARE YOU?!"
"Mace, calm down for just one sec-"
"HOW ABOUT YOU CALM DOWN AARON! HOW ABOUT YOU LET ME TAKE YOUR PLACE AS SUCCESSOR! HE'S LATUM BECAUSE OF YOU! YOU ALL! YOU DIDN'T LISTEN TO HIM OR ME!" I yelled as I broke free. I was ready to kick him until I heard my parents say:
"Macy, you are no longer a knight. We're taking away your shield."
