Macy's POV
I turned around to see Latum.
He was holding up his sword; I knew he was already about to attack me.
I stood my ground.
I had nowhere to run.
He pushed me to the ground as the antidote dropped onto the floor.
Maybe I can still help I thought.
I threw the bottle as hard as I could at him but he smashed it in midair with his weapon.
"Stupid stupid princess. Why do you always try?"
He lunged at me.
I dodged him barely by stepping to the left quickly. When his back was still turned, I kicked him on the leg, making him fall to the ground.
He rolled and got up, though then he pushed a statue at me, making me backflip out of it.
Everything was misty now, due to the stone dust the statue created.
I felt a kick in the stomach and another in the knee.
A large rock was then thrown at my chest.
I fell to the ground, gasping for air.
The dust soon cleared.
I saw Latum, with his sword at my neck.
"P-please...Cl-clay.......help..." I struggled to say, the blood clogging my throat.
"I guess I won this fight." He boasted. "Now I just need to finish you off."
