Macy's POV
I shook Clay by the head to make him snap out of it.
"HEY! HEY!" I cried.
No answer.
He just kept on laughing.
He soon stopped and started twitching.
"...You need to... You...Need...To..."
"Need to what?! Clay! Tell me!"
"RUN."
I sprinted down the steps and into the fields.
I thought I was safe.
Take in mind that I said 'thought'
He was chasing me.
I ran as fast as I could, sweat rolling past my head.
I glanced back to see him still coming after me.
My chest started to hurt.
I couldn't breathe.
That didn't stop me, though.
I just kept on going, hoping that there was a better way to end this.
*time skip*
I reached the nearest place to take shelter in.
That place was the Knights Academy.
I took deep breaths.
