Dear Diary,
It's been 5 years since my girlfriend's death. 5 years since Toothless's death as well.
I still miss both of them with everything I have.
If only I didn't send her away.. if only I kept her here to try and help her.
Now she's gone, and I'm left laying in my bed for days just staring at the only family photo I have of us.
Man, I miss them.
I hope she's happy wherever she is. I know I'll never see her beautiful face, or Toothless's gummy smile and big green eyes.

A few hours later Astrid walked in with a plate of food. She told me she was going out to look for more fish. She didn't explain why.
I just nodded and waved to her, telling her goodbye without saying a word. She gave me the food and I just kept staring at the photo, my mind going through every moment we had together. Our first kiss, me asking her to be mine, our cuddles, us flying together, everything. Even the bad moments we've had. Her getting caught many times. Everything.
And then the time I let her go to that wretched island. She'd still be here, alive, and she wouldn't have made Nightwing kill Toothless.
It's not her fault... it's not her fault... it's...not...her...fault...
I always tell myself this every day. I knew it wasn't her fault. Her father made her do this. He controlled her, and in turn, she made her own dragon turn on her love.
I knew I shouldn't have let her go.
I'm such an idiot...

A while later I received a terror mail from my dad, who received it from Astrid. It said that she found a suspicious dragon rider, or who she thinks is a dragon rider, so she'll be staying the night at the island. Whichever island she went to, that is.
I was wondering what kind of dragon the rider was riding, if it even was a dragon rider. It could just be a highly intelligent dragon who knows how to put out fires on its own.
No, it had to be a human. No dragon has water nearby. Or a bucket. The only water breathing dragons are in the ocean, and they wouldn't go anywhere near fire.
Anyway, I put the photo on my nightstand and drifted off to sleep.

That morning, I got up late. Astrid came in and said that it was a dragon rider, and it looked a lot like Toothless.
She explained the color of the dragon, the tail fin, and even its eyes. All were equivalent to how Toothless used to look.
Even his saddle looked the same! He had the prosthetic leg tail fin control that I used to have.
I figured after lunch I'll go with her to see the Toothless look alike.
Could it really be him?
