    I feel reality fading back. I can hear slow beeping and a hum of voices. What is happening. I open my eyes. I am meet with a white light. My hand shoots up to shield my eyes. My eyes adjust and I look around, I am in a hospital bed, but the walls are rock? I come to realization the Batman was staring at me. I reach for my sword,but soon realize its gone. I reach to my face. My mask is gone.

" Arianna Hathway" Batman barks and I snap my focus to him

" Do you know what happened?" He asks and I shake my head no

" You were kicked in the head by a Kryptonian" I listen to him

" I have to get back" confusion flashes across his face but it dissapears as quickly as it came

" To where?"

His question hit me deeper than it should. I didn't know. My best excuse was David so I look uo to him making a lie. "I am being hunted?" It came out horribly " Well you see-"

" Arianna" He says cutting me off I can't tell if he was angry or normal or happy- well he isn't happy of course-

 I was cut off by his voice again

" You are safe hear, now tell me why you wanted to steal the Ruby?" He looks at me waiting for me to speak

" Well-" I begin, hesitant to tell him, I mean he is a superhero and I am ordinary and a thief, I go on anyway "Well I was recruited to steal the Diamond by this powerful man and no I didnt see his face, he was gonna pay me big bucks cause well I don't have money and I live in an old rundown buliding cause I ran away from home and I need someway to survive." I ramble and he clears his throat I shut my mouth.

" you ran away"

" My foster family sucked"I say casually

" Where are your parents"

" Dead, they were killed 4 years ago, they drowned and I escaped, I don't know how"

He gets up walking out without another word. I sit back up swinging my legs over the edge of the bed, I un stuck the wire that was stuck on the temple of my head. The beeping stops and I walk to the door. I throw away the sticky thing that was connected to my head. I slide the door open and stick my head out. I see Batman talking to Martian Manhunter

" She will stay here"

I hear Martian Manhunter stay and Batman nods. I step all the way out. They notice me and Batman begins to explain what I am guessing they were talking about

" Arianna we are giving you an option to either go back to your foster family or get a chance to change the wrong you did and be a hero, you can join a covert team of young heroes here and train with them and go on covert missions"

 I take in what they said, I mean there was no way I was going back with my Foster Family, and I have always loved the rush of fighting and I never felt good doing bad so why not good. I have decided if doing bad didn't feel good, maybe doing good will feel good.

"Why me? Why not just let me back on the streets?" He gives a blank stare

"Because this is me righting my wrongs" Confusion bubbles but i knew he wasn't going to explain further.

" I will stay" Batman nods. He begin to walks away

 "I will introduce you to your team" I walk beside him. I become worried, what will they think of me, who are they? I try putting the small pieces back to together but I am snapped out of my thoughts by Batman staring at me. I snap my head up to see the team I fought in the Museum.
