Places

We had large eyes

That reflected the sea

And saw the most wonderful

Places to be.

We had no wings,

But a dream to fly,

We saw the heavens

Burning alive.

Jumped from planet to planet

In our infinite world,

Wrote down the stories

That they never told.

The flight was worth it,

Confess again.

It's only after you've gained all the scars

You truly feel the pain.

But we'll never stop,

Never let each other fall,

Breaking the borders

And the brick walls.
