Your lips were moving,
But I didn't get a single thing
You were saying.
Brother, what is it?
You were running,
But you were still far,
You weren't getting closer.
Brother, where are you?
You were changing,
But I couldn't tell the difference
Between the new you and the old you.
Brother, who are you?
You were fading,
But your face was still haunting
For a long time since you left.
Brother, what did you do?
You were smiling,
But you seemed as harsh
As it has been for the last years.
Brother, what are you thinking of?
You were standing
On top of a skyscraper,
Reckless, sorrowful.
Brother, why are you so mature?
The sunset was early
As you roamed the streets
With no destination.
Brother, did your life have no purpose?
You said, sister,
One day you'll understand me,
One day you'll feel the same.
Brother, what are you talking about?
But I hope you'll be wiser, stronger
And won't repeat my mistakes,
Because I can't take this any longer.
Brother, I don't know you at all.
But you left quickly
And mysteriously,
Brother, I'll remember you.
