Evening set upon the trees as the light grass turned dark with the sky. The noises of birds were slowing to the noises of crickets. Nettie and Teagan held hands as they walked around and looked for a spot to have dinner. There was a small pond near a streetlight and a park bench, where they decided to settle. Teagan hummed to herself as they ate their dinner together in quietness. After dinner, they settled on the park bench, where Nettie fell asleep on Teagan's shoulder.
Teagan smiled and gazed at Nettie's sleeping face, quietly humming "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" by The Beatles.
