"You wanna see a pancake flip?" Teagan asked Nettie, readying the pan for a flip.
"No. Gosh no. I don't want any pancake injuries." Nettie said, fluffing her new pixie cut.
"I got this, don't worry... okay... ready... GO!" Teagan threw the pancake into the air, as it flipped and landed successfully back on the pan.
Teagan and Nettie stood and looked at the pancake in awe.
"You actually... succeeded?" Nettie whispered.
"Gee, thanks." Teagan scoffed. "Nah, it's cool. I thought I'd fail, too."
"I'm so surprised right now. Like wow. Jesus crackers! You're amazing!" Nettie's smile stretched all the way across her face.
Teagan smiled. "Cool. I don't get called amazing that much." She murmured to herself.
