"Bea.. Bea, wake up." Gising ni Wong sa akin.

"Urgh, 5 more minutes." Sabi ko sabay tagilid at naglagay ng unan sa taas ng tainga ko.

"Tss, tama na. Gising na nga diyan!" Sabi ni Wong.

"Please, Wong. I'm so trashed!" Sabi ko.

I didn't hear her protest, so I think I won— what the hell?! Binuhusan ako ng malamig na tubig?! Brr.

"Wong! What the hell?!" Sabi ko sabay umupo mula sa pagkakahiga.

"Gising na kasi, anuba!" Reklamo niya. Do I even have a choice? -_-

"O, alis na! Maliligo na ako! Pwede naman sanang gisingin lang, e! Kailangan buhos talaga ng tubig?" Bulyaw ko.

"Shh, take a bath na. I bought you painkillers because I know your head feels like shit." What?! Jho?!

So, naligo na ako. Oops, I haven't told you. We have a game against NU. And my head totally feels like shit.

I changed into my cycling shorts, jersey and ateneo shirt with my sweater/jacket inside my gym bag.

"Bei, eat this first then drink your painkillers." Sabi ni Jho sabay abot ng Mcdonald's paper bag— at for sure, pancakes 'to.

"Thanks, Jho." I said. She smiled at me then went out of my room.

How the fuck am I supposed to let this girl go?

Umupo ako sa study table and decided to eat there nalang. I tool the pancakes out and saw a note.

I know you're not fine. Deanna told me that you two drank because of her problems, so I brought you your fave and painkillers. Get well, mwah!

So.. I don't wanna think about it. It would just get me hurt, for sure.

I ate the pancakes then drank my painkillers. Ah, this feels so much better.

Bumaba na ako, then mabuti nalang they're almost done prepping and just chitchatting a little bit.

"Let's go na, guys! The bus is waiting!" Sigaw ni Jia, kaya nagsitayuan na kami.

"Bei, tabi tayo." Jho asked while showing me her signature puppy eyes and pout.

"Ofcourse!" Sabi ko with a smile.

Sa wakas, bumalik na kami sa dati. Pero sobrang hirap pa kasi, kasi I've been thinking of letting her go.

Tabi kami ni Jho sa bus, then she leaned her head to my shoulders.

"Beh," She called. 'Di ko naman gusto ipahalata na bumibilis ang tiboo ng puso ko.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I missed you. I missed us. I missed this." Jhoana, please don't make this hard for me.

"Me, too, beh." Sabi ko at ipinatong ang ulo ko sa ulo niya.

"We'll get through everything, I told you." Sabi niya.

----- Flashback -----

Nasa seaside kami, waiting for the game.

"Beh, if we would promise each other something, what would it be?" Biglaang tanong ni Jho.

"That we'd be bestfriends— not until we die, but until the end of time." Sabi ko.

"Ako? That we'll get through whatever challenges life gives us. We'll get through it, together." She promised.
