PROLOGUE
"Are you sure you want to do this?"
I sigh, this was the fifth time he was asking me and it was really getting old now. "Trust me, I don't; but I made a promise to them that I was going to do it. It was always their wish – for me to find my real parents and start a new leaf."
He hugs me, his strong arms just wrapping around me protectively before pressing a kiss on my forehead. "You call me when you find them or else."
Somehow, even in the worst situations, he managed to make me smile but not without making me roll my eyes at him first. "Yes, boss. I love you."
"Love you too, little baby."
Time to find my real parents.
