Rin's P.O.V

I struggled in the chains. At first I just wanted out, but now I have forgotten what my goal is. Was I supposed to stay here, or get loose. My thoughts were a caged animal. All that was going through my head was freedom. Marcie and Hayley tried to keep me calm but it wasn't working. Dr. Amadi watched as I pulled and he pulled something out of his pocket. A silver lighter was in his hand. I lowered my eyes getting a better look at him.

A golden flame sparked making me stop pulling. The fire came closer to my eye making me smile. The flames of life and death was nw next to me once again. All I could do was watch with a smile on my face.

"You want the fire Rin? You want me to leave it on?" I didn't answer as I was to focussed on the light. Then it clicked off. I looked frantically around me looking for where the flame would pop back up. I moaned wanting the fire back. Why did it disappear? The fire clicked back on and I smiled again staying silent. "I don't think we will need the antidote for her." Dr. Amadi said.

"Are you kidding?! She will go crazy!" Marcie yelled.

"She is already crazy, but this way we can control her. If we use her obsession to our advantage." Dr. Amadi pointed out.

"We're supposed to heal our paitents. Not get them worse." Hal pointed out mixing two substances.

"Her mental state is gone, but using this we can save her physical form and keep her from hurting anyone. She's not going to be a murderer anymore, unless we want her too."

"How do you expect that we control her."

"Keep her on meds, but stick and shatter proof TV in her room with a program on just a fire. If I am right then she will no longer feel the need to escape and will just want to stay next to the TV. Eventually, her thoughts will slow causing her to be in a mental state of nothing. We will keep her on the top floor, but just not in extreme confinement."

"You have put a lot of thought into it, but it seems like it's illegal." Hal said.

"A lot of things we do here is illegal. Get over it. Save your sister, but not Rin. I'm going to take her back to her room." Dr. Amadi looked back to me. "Would you like that, Rin?" I stayed silent as he kept the flame on and he unlocked my chains. I fell to the ground, but I didn't care. I stood on unsteady feet, but I did it. "Good job. Now let's go."

I followed him up the stairs. More like I followed the flame that he carried. Why was it that I was following him so calmly. It's just a small flame, but yet I want to have it. Slowly I watched the flame as it flickered on the drafty staircase. Everyone around me watched as I was lead up the stairs and through the main hall making out way to the stairs for the floors. We made our way all the way to the top floor and I looked around the room.

People were in it putting a thick old time T.V. The lighter went away being replaced with the screen turning on. On the T.V was a christmas fire with quiet music in the background. I walked to the T.V and touched the fire on the screen waiting for the hot burn. It had no effect on my skin, but I still liked to touch it. The door closed behind me and locked, but I didn't care. I had fire with me. That was all that mattered.

Emma's P.O.V

Fighting the erge to feed was no easy task. Watching the people around me move without me chasing them was unbearable, but I couldn't lose myself. Hal was getting the cure ready and it is almost done. All I needed to do was hold myself off until then. My teeth dug into my lip letting me taste my blood that was at least a little calming.

"Hurry up Hal." I whispered. No one seemed to hear me. They must all be busy. Hayley and Marcie both left to go back to their rooms so the only ones left in here was Dr. Amadi and Hal. Dr. Amadi was back from putting Rin up, but I still hated seeing him come in here with a look on his face like he was not the cause of this. I really wanted to pull out his heart because he has no reason to have it. Wait! Stop Emma, you're making yourself even more bloodthirsty. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Why am I still thinking of this!?

"And done." Hal said hurrying to grab the medicine. "Emma. This has to go through your whole system, meaning I can not give it to you in a shot. You must drink it." She came closer to me, but her smell was too strong, I could not let her com any closer. If she gives me that, I might just bite her. I don't want to be responsible for that again.

"Hal. I -"

"Close your eyes." she ordered. I did as I was told as my vision went black. "Tilt your head back and open your mouth." I did as I was told trying to keep my mouth open as her hand came close. The watery medicine slipped down my throat. I swallowed with a big gulp and took a deep breath.

"Thanks Hal." I thanked her and continued to breath.

"Your welcome Emma. I'll have some people escort you to your room. The medicine will soon start to take effect and you will be given a dose twice a day for three days. I don't know when you will be allowed to see Marice or Hayley but it's sometime between now and three days. Rin is another story though. I will keep you informed." she told me. I nodded and she turned away from me for a seck and then she stopped. She quickly turned back around and buried me in a hug.

"Hal."

"I love you Emma. I'm glad your okay now."
