Strange meeting

*Adrelean's POV*

Simon agreed to come to my place again, but he insiste that his student Orion shouldn't come for the sake of this in a secret, I can tell that Orion is really mad and possibly sulking. I could not bear to even look at him, maybe I should try to talk to Simon about it.

We arrived in about 15 minutes and he went straight to the basement. I feel like there's someone here already but Simon doesn't seems to feel it so I just pushed it a side. I told him my plan, he got this face that look as if telling me I'm crazy but I'm going for it, after all, she's my only way to fix my sin, the promise that I've broken.

*Meanwhile, back to Encre*

I got real worried for such a long time but soon I give up worrying and start to look for a way back, because this is the future, the machine might not even be made and I can't even ask anyone about it.

*Sigh* well, I guess I will just have to bet on my luck and hope I'll find something from where I came from. It didn't take long for me to find it, that obviously dug up fresh earth. I jump into the hole I dug and found the machine, I craw inside and studied my surrounding. I learn about machines before so I was able to understand how it works but the challenge is how I can revers the effect.

I try to look at the inside but I can't open it, there's no way I can open it with my bare hand so I try to use the buttons to help me, there's a green button in them, it doesn't really stand out but something tells me I should try it. Right after I pressed it, the blinding light came back again but this time, there's white as well as red.

When all the light was gone I found myself not underground this time, it doesn't seems that I'm back yet but I couldn't tell if I landed yet, everything is white, the ground even. I slowly step out and carefully look for the ground with my feet, my other feet joined when I found a floor.

I look around, yep, everything is white, it kind of hurt.

"Is someone there?" I turned around to the source of the voice, I found myself staring into myself, well, not really. He's a male and wear some every complex clothes with colours strap across his chest and a huge brush behind his back. What is this?

"Oh, umm, Hi?" I said not sure what's happening anymore.

"Hi...which AU are you from?" He asked.

"Huh?" I give him a confused look.

"Oh! I didn't visit you yet right? Well...this is awkward, I'll start by introducing myself," he said as he bowled like a perfect gentleman,

"My name is Ink, please to meet you, I am the creator and protector of all alternate universes or shorten to AU."

"Oh, my name is Encre, we are the same right? My name translates to Ink as well," I asked.

"I believe so, your name is from French right? Then you must be from one of the Vampverse ver x?"

"What is that?" I asked

"Something like a change from the original story, there's plenty like that so we just all it Vampverse version x," he smiled.

I couldn't find the logic here...

"I wonder if you coming here is part of the story as well? You're pretty much the first, want to talk for a bit?" he asked, I said yes of course, after a bit of questioning, I understand a bit more. 

"Why do you seem so excited when you saw me?"

"Hum? Oh! What do you feel when you first saw here?" he asked, not really answering my question.

"I was afraid and...a bit...lonely," I said as I realised that I answered my own question.

"Yeah, that how I feel, I can go else where of course but I don't belong anywhere but here, although it's sad but Whatever I do, I must come back here, it's the same with others," he said.

I suddenly got a question that I wanted to ask him, if he and I are the same then-

"Do you have a family of your own yet?" I asked with my head down, preparing for the worst.

He must have noticed.

"Did you know? Forever is a long time but, there is a family that I wouldn't mind spending it with, I started with a white space afraid of what will happen, then I started meeting new things and people so, without realising, I created my home, a place I can return to." he said as he look into the distant of white.

Then he turn to me,

"A family doesn't have to related to blood, a family is people who cares for you, who will be there for you, who wouldn't betray you and when I realised that, I have so many family members, it was such a dream for me that I cried, maybe for the first time ever," he chuckled a bit.

"Then what are you doing here? Shouldn't there be someone here? Or something at least?" I asked, I mean it was strange, if he have so many people there for him the why is he alone here?

"Well, the truth is, I got lost," he said as he scratch his head and gives a trouble smile, " I was never good with directions so, yeah. That's how I end up here,"

"Ah...I see," yep, we are the same. Can I even count how many time I've been lost?

There was a light behind me, we both turned around and it was the machine, it's glowing, as if it's telling me to go there, I stood up walking towards it but stopped and then back to Ink, what about him? He will be here all alone.

"Don't worry about me, they should be looking for me already," he smiled and waved, I smiled and wave back. I got back into the machine and I can tell it's starting, before I go, I heard a loud shout.

"HEY! RAINBOW ASSHOLE!"

I'm not sure if that's a friend or something but I feel like he's quiet strong so I didn't worry to much.
