Maybe as the lightening splits its way through the sky,
and fills the sky with a sudden flash of light,
a part of me bubbles with a fury that also begs for release.
Maybe as the thunder cries from behind the thick grey clouds,
my own voice finds its way out,
and frustrated shouts also fill the dark sky.
But when the rain pours a few minutes later,
we both settle down and find our own peace,
knowing that we both got exactly what we wanted.
