The day was really nice and there was a nice breeze going on as Bambi was speaking to the architects, going over some plans when she over heard someone say that they were heading to Polis today with the rest of the group.
Bambi was nearly bouncing as she apologized to the architects and rushed off towards Bellamy. She was excited to go back and explore the place some more, maybe even play with the kids again, but mostly see what was new in the marketplace. She found him talking to Clarke at the gates-nearly tripping as she got to them.
"Bambi, what's wrong?" Bellamy held her shoulder as she nearly ran right into them, keeping her from falling on her face.
"Polis!" Bambi bounced in place. "I heard you guys are heading back to Polis. Can I come again?"
Clarke nodded. "Yeah-"
"No." Bellamy quickly cut her off, his tone firm.
Bambi's grin drops and the bouncing stops. "What? Why not? I've already gone before and didn't get in any trouble."
Bellamy shakes his head. "This visit isn't for fun, it's for serious business. I don't have time to watch you."
"You don't have to watch me." Bambi tells him. "I can spend some more time with Octavia and Lincoln-"
"Just go back to work and stay out of the way."
Bellamy's comment and harsh tone broke her heart and it easily showed on her face. Clarke and Bellamy saw the look of hurt before Bambi turned and walked away quickly, the look breaking their own hearts.
Clarke glared at Bellamy. "Why couldn't she come? You know she's more than welcome to come." She waits for an answer, but Bellamy doesn't have a good reason.
"That's none of your business." He mutters before leaving with the small group towards the gate.
Clarke glances back at Bambi, spotting her watching the group leave without her and she feels for her because she knows how much Bambi loved Polis, but she's ready to give Bellamy a piece of her mind when she has a chance to for Bambi.
