Harry: [silence]
Louis: Did you wait for me?
Harry: [silence]
Louis: How'd you get home?
Harry: [silence]
Louis: I'm sorry. (sighs)
Harry: [silence]
Louis: Love, don't treat me like I'm talking to thin air. (bows head) I had something important to do, that's why I didn't got to pick you up for two nights.
Harry: Why, had to pick up Tess from her vacation? (smiles while tears flow down face)
Louis: What are you talking about?
Harry: I saw you. (smiles/wipes tears)
Louis: Assume all you want, Tess and I are good friends.
Harry: (whispers) And she's more important than me.
Louis: Stop it. (closed fist)
Harry: (hangs head low) I was at the bus stop when I saw your car, you were with her and you were talking, and you looked like you're having fun. (crying) Did she start standing in the middle of the road too? Is that why you're picking her up now?
Louis: (shakes head) No.
Harry: Ah I see. (trembling) Something's happening between the two of you that you don't want me to know. Tell me now Louis, I hate surprises!
Louis: Please stop making a scene.
Harry: I'm not making a scene, I want to know the truth! What is up with you and Tess? (stands up from seat/shaking in anger)
Louis: Nothing!
Harry: Don't lie to me! (bawls)
Louis: There are things that you shouldn't know. (fumes)
Harry: Why?
Louis: Because I'm trying to protect you!
Harry: (chuckles) Protect me? How? By having her around? Is that how you protect someone?
Louis: (slams fist on table) What are you saying? Are you even hearing the words coming out of your mouth? (people staring at them)
Harry: Tell me the truth, or I'm leaving you.
Louis: [silence]
Harry: Tell me.
Louis: [silence]
Harry: LOUIS! (begs) TELL ME.
Louis: I'm sorry, I'm tired. (walks out)
