Serena's POV

"Serena, I promise you, I won't let Barbara or any of them hurt you." Uncle Jim promised.

I nodded slowly.

I wasn't worried about them hurting me, Barbara would never lay a hand on me, I was worried about what Barbara said in Arkham. About her taking me when she got out of there. I was terrified that Uncle Jim would get angry, but also a little fearful of Barbara. I mean, I love her to death, but she still is a little unstable.

I wonder if they had taken Jerome too.

"Did they take that kid Jerome?" I asked.

Uncle Jim nodded.

I sighed.

Gotham was screwed.

Jim groaned.

"Why can't the crazy people stay locked up in this town?" Lee asked.

"That's not how Gotham works." Jim said with a sigh.

I nodded in agreement.

Lee sighed and turned to Jim.

"Jim, you've had a long day, why don't you go take a shower? I can put on a movie for Serena and I. If that's okay with Serena." Lee said, glancing at me.

I smiled.

"Sure." I replied.

Lee smiled back.

"Great." She said.

"Okay then, I'll be back." Jim said, and headed into the bathroom.

Lee and I headed to the couch and sat down.

"What type of movies do you like?" Lee asked.

"Comedy." I replied.

"Really? I'm more of an adventure person myself, but okay.." She said.

I laughed.

Lee puts on "Guardians of the Galaxy."

"There this one is adventure and comedy." She stated.

I grinned.

"Sweet. You know Lee, you aren't too bad." I said, grinning.

Lee smiled.

"Thanks, you're not too bad yourself Serena." She said.

We laughed and then watched the movie.
