Chapter 20: Testosterone Overload

Our sleeping arrangements the night before were a little weird, to say the least.

Kind of funny too.

That night we had decided to have a movie marathon. We quickly settled into Georgia's room since Adisa had been in there already. By the end of the third movie, Georgia was asleep with her hand in the bowl of popcorn. Adisa was in and out of consciousness for most of the movies and I was the one who had to be the adult for once. After taking all of the snacks back into the kitchen and putting on my pajamas, I went back into Georgia's room. We were gonna have a sleepover if it was the last thing I did.

Unfortunately, they had both rolled over into my spot, but I wasn't too shocked at that and jumped into the small space between them. Georgia complained a little because the jumping caused me to land on her arm. Adisa just rolled over so his back was facing me. We all quickly relaxed again and went to bed.

Now when I woke up is when everything got a little weird. Georgia somehow ended up in the middle while Adisa and I were on each side of her. Her head laid on my arm while one of hers were thrown over Adisa. His arms were wrapped around her and my other arm wrapped around her. I wasn't too appalled since I was a world class cuddle bug and Georgia and I were always into platonic cuddles.

I didn't start the Georgia edition of tug of war, it was Adisa.

He woke up and yawned a little before looking me straight in the eyes. They quickly scanned over our entanglement and a little smirk crossed his face. In a swift movement, Adisa had her pressed flushed. I pulled her back to me with the strength of my newly freed arm. I knew I shouldn't have egged it one, but I always was a fan of nonsense and being extra.

She woke up a couple of moves later and cursed us out, mumbling something about too much testosterone and her beauty sleep. Georgia gracefully crawled over me and left the room, shutting the door behind her.

We sat up on the bed and smiled at each other.

"Dude, I love you, but you can't keep freaking her out." I interrupted our comfortable silence. It had been something that was weighing on my mind ever since I had gotten back. I didn't expect them to have gotten so close in the time frame of a week, but I was happy for them. I couldn't come up with good ship name yet either, but just know that it was coming. But I digress."I'm going away soon and this time I won't be able to run back to make sure everything is okay."

He stared at me for a little while before speaking. "Adisa doesn't mean to,"

"I know you don't but Georgia was hurt really badly by a man." Adisa angled his head in confusion. Sometimes I forgot English wasn't his first language. "Sy is seergemaak deur 'n man en hy het haar baie seergemaak." I repeated into a language he understood and pounded my hand into my fist to put the emphasis on hurt. His frown deepened.

"Who?" He sat up a little straighter, but I smacked his idea out of the air.

Jeremy had gotten a good beating from me before and not to mention Georgia. She had a hell of a sucker punch too .He was a dick and would soon get what he deserved for hurting our dear Georgia.

"It was a long time ago, but every time you get a little too rough with her she remembers and you remind her of him." A wave of understanding crashed down his face and I could see that he was mortified. I nodded and patted him on the back.

"Think of her like an orange. She has a rough outside and an extremely soft inside. If you squeeze too tight then your gonna get some juice and some tears."

"Dan! Adisa!" We looked at each other again before I screamed back an affirmation. "I made breakfast so get your asses in here." I chuckled and got off the bed. Adisa followed behind shortly as I left the room.

"Did you call for two hunks?" I took my shirt off like a stripper and threw it on the couch. Georgia laughed and threatened me with the spatula in her hands.

A/N: So I need good books to read and I was wondering if any of you guys had any recommendations. I'm not into any of the" bad boy won't leave me alone kind of stuff " and I'm open to read, anything once.
