Part 8

“Bye mom” I yelled through the halls of our house.

“Where do you think you’re going at 7pm Camila”

“I’m going out with Lauren remember I told you about it and I’m going sleep over at her house”

“You have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow so you have to be ready by 9 we’re gonna pick you up infront of her house”

I gave my mom a quick hug before I made my way to Lauren’s house. Ever since the kiss things changed between us but we were finally on our way to becoming as close as we used to be. But ever since we kissed us quite often I don’t think I have feeling for her but I didn’t wanna hurt her. Dinah has told me what I was doing was wrong and as always she was most probably right but I couldn’t bear the thought of hurting Lauren more. I saw her sitting on bench infront of her house and when she saw me her face lit up.

“Hey beautiful” she yelled running up to me taking the bags out of my hands.

“Where are we going” I asked her after we brought my bags into her house and she pulled me to her car. But nothing she just gave me a mysterious smile making me get even more curious than I was before. She parked her car at the beach and opened my door before she grabbed my hand and we walked along the beach.

“Close your eyes” Lauren whispered making me gave her a confused look but I did as I was told and that way we walked for about another 100 meters.

“Can I open my eyes yet” I asked for about the 50th time in the last few minutes.

“We’re almost there patience babe” the word babe always caused waves of happiness run through my body and I felt my cheeks getting red but since it was evening it was too dark for Lauren to notice.

“Open your eyes” I did as I was told and infront of me was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. A huge blanket was spread on the ground it was surrounded by candles and the blanket was filled with food.

“Food the one true love of my life” I thought when I heard Lauren chuckle that’s when I realized I once again spoken my thoughts out loud.

“Did I really just…?”

“Yes, yes you did but it’s okay you’re cute” she said still giggling.

We had a wonderful dinner and I haven’t had such a great time with Lauren in a very long time.

“Was this whole bonding sleepover invitation just to get me on a date with you without you having to ask me?”

She raised her eyebrows “What makes you think this is a date”

“hmm let me think we’re having dinner on the beach candles everywhere and you just fed me strawberries but you know it's just a thought”

“I like it when you’re sarcastic you always have that hot look on your face when you’re sarcastic”

I couldn’t help but blush and this time she saw my red cheeks as she sat on my lap and gave me a kiss on the nose. I could feel her warm breathe on my face as Lauren locked her lips with mine. It wasn’t anything like the pecks we had the last few weeks I could feel the passion and how much she loved me through her lips. She started kissing me harder licking my bottom lip asking for entrance that I gladly gave her. Our tongues battled for dominance until we were out of breathe and had to break the kiss. She gave me two pecks on the lips before she laid down next to me. Something about this kiss was different from the others we had it wasn’t like usual when I just enjoyed having her lips on mine this time I felt a warm exciting and what felt like tickles type of feeling in my stomach that couldn’t help but make me smile.

I looked at the beautiful girl lying next to me was I Camila Cabello in love with Lauren?
