I walk into Catco to see Winn stressing at Kara's desk.
"Uh, Winn, whatcha doing?" I ask calmly.
"Kara made me cover for her. Sir, no. No I'm not telling at you, I am just trying to help." He stutters, ready to scream.
I walk over and grab the phone from him. "Cat Grants office, this is Skylar. Mhm. Yes. Ok, have a nice day." I hang up after talking to the man on the phone.
Winn looks at me with surprise. "How?" He asks with his jaw open.
I laugh softly as I walk to my own desk. Then, the phone goes off again.
"Please don't yell at me, this isn't my job." Winn stammers.
Suddenly, Kara zooms in.
"Cat Grant's office, this is Kara." Kara answers the phone.
"Please, do not make me cover phones for you ever again." Winn sighs.
Winn walks back over to his desk and sighs as he plops back on his chair.
"JACKSON!" I hear my name being screamed from the Snapper's office. My eyes widen quickly before I jump out of my seat.
"If I'm not back in 10 minutes, call for help." I tell Winn. He laughs at my jokes.
"You yelled for me?" I say, walking into the office.
"I just wanted to congratulate you on make the front page for your article on Leslie Willis." He says handing me the preview of this week's magazine.
"Really?" I say, speechless. He takes a bite of Danish before speaking again.
"Good job, Jackson. I knew you would make it to the front one day." Snapper says, actually giving me eye contact.
"Thank you, Sir." I tell him with a nod before exiting the room.
I walk over to my desk calmly, with the magazine behind my back, receiving weird looks from Kara and Winn.
I jump with both arms in the air, as I hold my achievement in one hand.
"Why are you so happy?" Kara laughs.
"I made front page, baby!" I squeal.
"No way!" Kara jumps out of her seat and pulls me into a hug.
"Ooh! Let me in the celebratory hug!" Winn gets up and we all hug.
We release a few seconds later. "Snapper literally sounded sincere when he congratulated me." I explain with confusion.
"We're so happy for you, Sky!" Kara exclaims with a big smile.
