(Third Person POV)
Shaw smiled to himself as he leaned against the mast of the Sunny with Luffy in his lap, the boy had fallen asleep leaning against his brothers back. He looked down at the younger boy & laughed to himself & ruffled his hair, his straw hat was on Shaw's hat that were beside the two, he laughed again when he met Luffy's new members
"I'm Franky! I'm a shipwright that built the Sunny Go!" Shaw nodded with a slight smile as he shook Franky's hand
"Pleasure to meet you."
"Wow! Your SUPER polite!" he scratched the back of his neck
"Thanks, I get that a lot!" Shaw got a little startled when a boney, literally, a boney hand was extended to him
"& I am Bro--" he couldn't finish when Shaw screamed a little & punched Brook in the face then shot him off the ship
"BROOK!!"
"OMIGOD!! WAS THAT A FUCKING SKELETON?!?! How is that possible?!"
"Yes! That was a skeleton!"
"& he's the musician!"
Shaw looked over & saw Chopper holding an icepack to his head… or, well skull
"Again, I am so sorry. I've seen many things but never, & I mean never, have I ever seen a living, breathing & talking skeleton before." he shook his hand in the ear
"Yohoho~! It happens all the time, but no ones shot at me! Maybe the punch but not the shot… I think."
"Again… sorry." Shaw soon felt something wet land on his legs, he looked down & saw Luffy was asleep & was crying
"S–Sabo…" he stiffened up, he couldn't help but wrap his arms around the boy as he slowly let tears fall "S–Shawn, you won't end up l–like Sabo… right?"
"Of course not kiddo! Ace & I promised you that we'd never die, not till you become pirate king anyways!" that made Luffy grin
"Thanks!" Luffy eventually got up & left with his straw hat, Brook & Chopper went off as well but Brook had left his violin. With a groan he got up & grabbed his hat before trotting over to the violin
"When was the last time I played you?" he set the violin on his shoulder, plucked a few strings to see if it was in tune before playing
