(Third Person POV)
Koala had stayed by Shaw's side as he shivered in front of the fire place, sure she was cold but he was freezing cold, his teeth were chattering as he was shaking like a chuwawa. As a few people walked by they thought the two looked rather adorable, like a couple
"We're not a couple...!" he muttered, she giggled & patted his head
"Aw~ is someone getting embarrassed?" he shook his head as he snuggled closer into the blanket
"What gives you that idea, Koala?"
"Nothing~" he rolled his eyes, she started laughing with her eyes closed when she felt him place his hand on her head, she looked up at him & blushed when she saw him have this gentle smile
"Your so childish my little angel, that's what I like about you." he suddenly froze, she blushed a darker shade of red as he looked away as he blushed his own dark shade "U-Uh I mean...! I mean, I uh um, I-I... don't know."
"Um... I think, your rather charming, if I do say so myself!" he sighed in relief & laid his head down on her head. He was able to shrink his height so it wouldn't look like there was a giant with a dwarf "You seem to be getting better, Shawn-kun."
"Only when I'm with you, Koala." she had long ago taken her gloves off but noticed he was still wearing his, so she slowly grabbed his hand which made him flinch
"Take them off. Their wet &... I want to feel your hands."
"But--" she gave him a look, he sighed & hesitantly took only his left one off & set it down. They touched hands before intertwining them & laying down on each other, he was finally warm but he still wanted Koala's company
"I guess your right."
"Right about what?" she giggled & closed her eyes
"Oh nothing important."
(Time Skip)
Shaw had accidentally fell asleep but soon after woke up, he looked over & saw that Koala was lying down on him & he blushed lightly. He moved the hair away from her face that was covering her eyes & smiled gently, she looked so adorable to him
A little blush formed on his cheeks when he kissed her forehead, he laid back down & closed his eyes as she opened her eyes & blushed, feeling the warmth of his lips on her forehead. She yawned & it made Shaw yawn, she giggled
"Good morning, S-Shawn-kun!" he raised an eyebrow
'Why'd she stu-- wait, was she awake when I did that?!'
"Morning..." he grumbled, other then that, he wasn't exactly a morning person. He gently got her off him & stretched his back, she did the same & smiled at him "H-Have a nice sleep?"
"Uh-huh, you were so comfy~" she sung, he chuckled, they got changed & walked out of the lodged & went to get something to eat cause Shaw was starving. They sat down inside a café & Shaw ordered a lot of stuff while Koala got a few things, he started chugging them down & swallowed deeply when he almost started choking "You sure eat a lot."
"Runs in the family!" she giggled & rubbed the few crumbs off his face
"Does eating messy in the family as well?" he thinks for awhile before nodding "I see." he carried on eating & Koala finally examined him, short wavy blonde hair, palish skin, blue eyes, scar on the left ey--
"Are you okay? You've been staring at me for awhile."
"Huh? Have I now? Sorry, you just look similar to my colleague."
"Oh? Who is he?" he asked as he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand
"The Chief of Staff..." something blocked out what she said & he couldn't hear her, so he looked at her a little confused
"What?"
"S--" he still couldn't hear her, so he was left confused on who this character was, after they finished eating they left the café, hand in hand & walked up a hill where a tree was blooming
"I've really enjoyed spending time with you Koala, & I kinda wonder where Volpina went off too. She likes spending time with you too!" Koala smiled at him
"Its a pleasure, being with you & Volpina-san is absolutely fun!" his breath hitched in his throat as he stared at her lips, he started blushing wildly "Shawn-kun? Are you okay?"
"U-Um, yeah its just..." she tilted her head to the side
"Yes~?" he looked away, he placed a hand on her shoulder & leaned into her ear
"You drive me so crazy..." she blushed at how husky his voice was "Every time I look at you my mind races, when I hear your voice my stomach flips, your always on my mind & sometimes when I look at a woman I see you instead of her!" he pulled away from her ear & stares down at her with a blush "What I'm saying is that... I love you."
Her blush darkened & his eyes looked straight in hers, he gulped when she didn't answer but only stare at him with widened eyes. He let out a sigh & looked the other as he threw his hood over his head
"I guess... you don't feel the same, & I just made a huge fool out of myself." as he was going to walk away Koala finally snapped out of her frozen state & grabbed the sides of his hood & pulled him into a kiss, his eyes widened but they relaxed as he wrapped his arms around her waist & pulled her closer
They broke apart for a second before diving in for another kiss, the fact that Shaw was so tall Koala was on her tiptoes, it kinda made Shaw chuckle a little
"What's so funny...?" she mumbled over his lips
"You look so cute right now." she rolled her eyes & threw her arms around his neck & pulled him into another kiss with a smile
"But that's what you love about me." he smiled at her
"Tell me you love me?" she giggled
"I love me." he sighed & she looked at him with a huge grin
"I walked into that one."
"Yeah, yeah you did. But I do love you, Shawn-kun."
