Competition
__________
A day passed by and Jihoon asked me if we could all go out today. He told me to bring my friends so I asked them too. Unlike Gahyeon, Hyeri didn't overreact about it. But she still got curious about Jihoon being close with me. Of course they both asked if we're going out. Which I answered in an honest and most proper way. I don't even see Jihoon in any other way than just a friend.
He's a good friend, that's all. We've been talking a lot since the day he approached me and we keep each other's company too specially when I'm all alone.
Sometimes he was there just watching me paint, sometimes we study together. And because of that I've gotten more close to him. He really is a nice person. "We're all free after class, we'll just see you there, okay?" I said over the phone.
"Are you sure you don't want me to fetch you?" Jihoon asked sounding a bit worried. I let out a small laugh. "We'll be fine, I can't let you wait that long. It's better if you go first." I reassured him and I heard his sigh.
"Okay then, I'll see you later. Bye, Saeron." He said and I smiled. "See you in a bit." I replied before ending the call. I looked up and saw Gahyeon staring at me with scrutinizing look. I furrowed my brows. "What?" I asked and she just squinted her eyes at me.
Why is she being like this all the time? It's so weird. "My ship isn't sailing." She said then pouted a bit.
"What are you talking about?" I asked in confusion. "I ship you and Daniel but you've only been hanging around with Jihoon lately." She looked disappointed right now.
The 'lately' she's talking about has only been happening these past few days but look at her face. She looked like she lost in a competition or something. She really is exaggerating at some times. I shook my head and laughed at her.
She just glared at me. I don't think something's wrong with being friends with a guy, right? I mean, I've been hanging around with Daniel too. I haven't had a guy friend ever but those two were comfortable to be with. But it was both a different feeling too. I don't know but something with Daniel just feels different.
"Where is Hyeri by the way? She's taking too long." Gahyeon asked after waiting for a few more moments. We're at the field, waiting for Hyeri. She said she'll be back in a bit but she's still isn't here. Thank goodness' I didn't make Jihoon stay with us or else he'd wait for a long time too. I shrugged my arms as I don't know the answer of her question too.
I looked around the field and immediately saw our ever so slow friend walking towards us. "She's here." I said and stood up from the bleachers. I heard Gahyeon mumbled thanking words before following me.
"Where have you been? You're so slow!" Gahyeon was the one who complained. I nodded my head repeatedly as an agreement. "Sorry, I ran into someone." Hyeri simply said before gesturing for all of us to go.
We went to the parking lot. I instantly saw Gahyeon's car and we all went inside. I told my driver that I'll go out with my friends today and that she'll drop me off our house too. I have my own car as dad brought it for me as a present. I just don't use it because I don't think it's necessary since I have drivers and bodyguards.
It's sometimes annoying when all those guards are always by my side so I asked dad to minimal their duties with me. I'm not a kid anymore, I don't need people guarding me 24/7 everywhere.
It's good that they're now only driving me to school and back to our house. And sometimes when I have to go to some places, they had to drop me off but when I have workshops, it's a time for my self only. I always make sure I go alone. I'm fine with that as long as they don't invade my privacy.
