Missing
__________
Daniel's p.o.v
I fluttered my eyelids open as the sunlight directly hit my face. I groaned inwardly and shifted on my bed to turn my back against the window. "Damn it." I cursed lightly when I felt the throbbing pain inside my head. My mind going over the memories I spent alone last night. I sniffed on my pillow, inhaling the trace of scent that my girlfriend has left when she stayed here.
It makes me miss her more, damn it. I sighed then sat straight up before yawning and standing up.
I went straight to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I stared at the mirror, the bruise from yesterday was still evident and fresh on the corner of my mouth. My head was still throbbing and spinning as I went to my kitchen. The cans of beer that I used to get myself so drunk last night was still scattered on the table. I picked them up lazily and threw them on the trash bin.
I went to look through the fridge when suddenly my phone started ringing. I let out a soft curse and looked at the clock. It's eleven in the morning. I overslept, huh? Well, I don't care actually. I didn't bother answering the call since I know it's not even Saeron. I'm not in the mood to deal with anything right now. Especially now that I feel so damn frustrated.
I decided to just eat the cereals as slumped down on my chair. My phone rang again but I didn't move. My mind was wandering, thinking about Saeron. How she was and what she's doing right now. I hope she's doing fine. I clenched my jaw when I remembered how her father talked to me last time.
It was on her phone when I tried to call her several times. I was worried because she never spoke to me after I dropped her off to her friend's house. I was even more worried when she didn't respond to any of my texts even the next day. I thought she'd given up on us again and that scared me. It made my heart hurt the exact way that only she can make.
I called her several times, I didn't even bother stopping. How could I? I can't even think properly when I know she isn't responding to me. So I tried to contact her until she decided to answer my phone call. To my surprise, it wasn't her but her father.
He told me to stay away from her daughter and leave her alone. He even threatened me. Not that I was scared. I was ready to fight for her daughter more than anything in this world. I tried to convince him that I am capable of loving Saeron and making her happy. I guess that only made him angrier because his last words left me trembling.
'If you don't stay away from my daughter, I will have her marry someone to stop you from getting close to her.'
"Fuck it!" I balled my hands into fists. No, I will never let her marry someone else. I can't let her. I can't take it. I couldn't even imagine her in someone else's arms let alone be married with someone that is obviously not me.
The phone rang again making me groan in frustration. I stood up and went back to my room so I could pick up my phone. An unknown number's calling me. My brows knitted in confusion as I answered the call. The first thing I heard was heavy breathing.
"Damn you Kang Daniel! Where is my daughter?! Where did you take her you asshole?!" Saeron's dad, Minhyuk's voice roared from the other line.
"What– What are you talking about?" I asked in confusion. I can tell he was seething from anger just by his heavy breathing.
"Don't fucking deny it Kang! I know she's with you! You took her with you, didn't you?!" He shouted again, this time it made me worried when I realized what was happening.
