Meeting

Daniel's car stopped in front of a huge house or should I say mansion. Our house was kind of big too but theirs was just more enormous. Looking from outside, anyone can tell how much this family is successful. I grew nervous as I realized what we came here for. "Let's go," Daniel spoke up.

"I-I was just joking, I take back what I said! Let's go back." I retreated, my heart felt like it's gonna burst. I saw how Daniel's face formed a frown. "You promised, Saeron. No turning back." He said reminding me my stupid promise earlier. I wouldn't have said that if it only wasn't for his hypnotizing words.

I can't believe I fell for his charms. I want to face palm myself. "But it's t-too sudden, don't you think?" I asked him still stuttering. "Come on, Saeron we're already here." He persuaded but all I could think of was the possibilities and consequences if I go inside his house to face his parents.

I looked at him nervously, biting my lip. "But what if they won't like me. I mean what if they hate our family too?" I swallowed the lump in my throat. If only I could say a cold 'no' to him and runaway right now I will. But I'm held captive by his gaze. Those soft eyes staring at me- persuading me.

"How can they hate the girl I love, tell me." He leaned on his seat, waiting for my response. I felt my cheeks burn. I averted my gaze when I couldn't think of a word to say. How can he just say that to my face so easily?

"If I have to carry you and drag you inside the house, I will." My eyes widened in shock. Did he just threaten me? "Why would you do that?" I asked in horror. "Because I want you to meet my parents." He said blankly. "That will be so inappropriate." I muttered before fanning myself.

"Stop being nervous and just calm," He said softly. "I'm here with you, don't worry." He smiled sweetly at me before holding my hand. "I'm just worried, I don't think they'd like me." I confessed, I felt him squeeze my hand lightly.

He leaned his head on his seat then stared at me intently. "You managed to make me fall in love with you, you can do that to them to." I sighed, how can I reject him if he put it that way? I just couldn't stop myself to worry about it. If dad hates them then they must feel the same way towards us. They might feel mad once they see me, they can even throw me out. I'm feeling scared.

"F-Fine, but if ever something bad happens- it's your fault." He grinned at my words. He didn't even feel scared just a bit? How can he possibly be so calm when I'm meeting his parents right now? He instantly started the engine again so we could enter their gates. He parked his car outside his house. I realized we've been outside for too long.

As soon as he opened the car door and went outside, the fear resurrected inside my chest. I jumped in surprise when he opened the door for me. He laughed then offered his hand to me, "Come on, Shorty just relax." He smiled at me but I threw him a glare. I took his hand and he pulled me towards him before closing the door.

I stared at the ground, I can't believe I'm here stepping on their land. Never in my life I even thought of myself going to this place. I never even imagined myself holding Kang Daniel's hand but here I am, in front of their house hand in hand with Kang Daniel himself. This is all his fault. All his. I just wanted to blame him although I know I'm to be blame just the same.

He pulled my lightly, signalling me to move but I felt like my feet were rooted to the ground. I felt stiff and nervous. Daniel sighed then went closer to me. "You really want me to carry you inside, huh?" He asked before getting ready to carry me but I pushed him away. Is he serious!?

I threw him a glare but just laughed. I started walking even though I don't know where to go. I felt him pull my hand. "You're going the wrong way again." He chuckled before shaking his head. He lead me to the path inside his house. The door opened from the inside and it revealed people I don't recognize. They all bowed to Daniel and he returned them lightly.
