The dinner ended well with the artist's speech. After that we proceeded looking at the paintings again. I don't know how this exhibit and party will end but I hope it'll end soon. Specially when all I could see is Daniel and Minji from across the room. My blood boil seeing how the girl clung onto my boyfriend. Yes, I'm mad and I hate how I can't do anything about it.

I'm pissed at Daniel too. How can he just let her snake her arms at him? It makes my heart sink and mad. I can see him holding his phone and I know he's texting for my phone continuously beeped inside my purse. I won't text him back, damn him.

My dad stood up from his seat and stared at me. "Come, let's greet the artist properly." I followed him with my mom and saw that he approached Jeon Jungkook. This guy's mischievous looks creep me out but I have to be polite. We greeted him again and congratulated him for his successful art exhibit.

"I was waiting for a friend I invited tonight- oh, there she is!" Jungkook said when he was talking to dad. He called out and I stiffened at the name. "Jungkook! Happy birthday, I'm sorry I came late." I heard Minji's voice from behind. She hugged Jungkook and he returned it with a smile. "Thank you."

My father's expression changed when he saw who she was with and so was mine. Minji clung her arms again at Daniel before looking at me. "Saeron, I didn't know you're here!" I refrained myself from rolling my eyes at her annoying smirk. I didn't speak as Jungkook introduced my dad and mom to them.

"And I'm sure you know Kang Daniel?" He said, gesturing Daniel at the side. He didn't look at me and just greeted my dad. My father on the other hand still had this cold expression on his face. How much I wanted to leave this place. "It's so good to see you with another girl, Kang Daniel. I'm glad you've found someone who's right for you." My father was the one who spoke. Minii's smirk widened.

My heart clenched hearing the joy as he spoke. He must've felt happy he's with someone else. "She's just a friend sir. We all know who's the girl that I wanted and who really is right for me." Daniel's voice sounded firm, determined as he look at my father straight in the eye. My dad's expression changed again. He's mad and I averted my gaze not wanting to see that.

My father was about to talk when my mom placed her hand on his arm, calming him down. He did calm down and decided not to worsen the conversation more.

My eyes landed on Minji's hands that are wrapped tightly on Daniel's arm. His hand was balled into fist obviously because of his annoyance. I don't know who should be more annoyed here to be honest.

I excused myself as they talked. After I left Daniel and Minji left too. There's a pain inside my chest but I chose to ignore it. All I can feel is annoyance and jealousy. I took my phone out from my pocket and read Daniel's messages saying that we have to talk. I quickly typed a reply.

Me: Meet me at the room earlier.

But I wanted more than just talk. I want to leave and escape this place with him. I want to be by his side where I should be. His hands are mine to hold not Minji's. It's my place not hers and thinking that I can't do anything but keep it well hidden makes my heart ache.

Minji should know her place. Daniel should know he's mine. I'm annoyed at him for letting her hold him. But we have no time to quarrel and fight for stupid things. We should cherish our times together. And that's what I will do.

I made my way to the path I took earlier. I saw the empty room and went inside closing the door behind me. I took out my phone again seeing Daniel's reply saying he's on his way. I called my dad immediately and it was long before he picked up.
