I don't understand why Daniel's warning me about Jihoon. I know he was serious about what he said but I didn't really took it seriously. I mean Jihoon is a good friend, I don't think there's any reason to stay away from him.
When I think about it again, Daniel really seemed jealous. It's kinda cute actually, the way he furrowed his brows and tell me he was serious with it. That's why I had fun teasing him.
He did as he said, he dropped me off the bridge and I went home after that. He followed me even but didn't get close to our house of course.
Something is up with him and Jihoon which made me really curious. I wanted to ask about it but I thought it isn't my place to meddle so I just kept quiet. A few weeks passed and exams has finally ended. I really am anticipating the results. I studied hard for it so my father wouldn't be disappointed with me.
Those few weeks were hectic and all of us seemed busy. Even Daniel got so busy we didn't have much time to talk a lot. But now he's asking for a meet up to make up for times we couldn't see each other. I obliged since I loved the idea. It's the time we give breaks for ourselves after that deadly exams.
We planned to meet on the same place I always loved. After our first encounter there I've grown to go more often. But it was different from before.
Whenever I went to that place alone it felt incomplete. Like something is missing. Or more like someone. I call him every time I visit that place since then. I've grown fond of him. We spent a lot of times together before we readied ourselves for our exams. Now it was great to see him again.
I smiled to myself in the mirror. Once I'm satisfied with my look, I grabbed my bag and put my wallet and phone inside. I went downstairs and saw mom in the living room. She noticed my get up and raised a brow at me.
"You look like you have a date, dear." She remarked which made me flush. "I-I don't have a date mom! I'll just go grab something for myself." I denied and she just eyed me. My mother can be annoying at times specially when she knows what I'm up to.
"Mom! Stop looking at me like that!" I whined and pouted at her. She then laugh at my expression. "Okay child, go on with your date. Have fun." She teased before turning her back against me. I widened my eyes even if she couldn't see.
I felt like my cheeks heat up. "I told you I'm not going on a date!" I made my voice louder so she could hear me when she was starting to disappear from my sight.
"Whatever you say, dear!" She shouted back followed by her annoying laugh. I frowned and continued walking towards the door.
I was faced by my driver when I got outside. "Where do you need to go ma'am?" He asked immediately but I shook my head. "I'll just go to a coffee shop, no need to drop me off. It's just near by, thank you." I smiled warmly and hoped that he'll leave me alone.
"Are you sure, miss? Your father will–" I cut him off, "Yes, I'm sure it's just near. And I might meet up with a friend so I'll just ask for a ride." I said and he didn't argue a bit more. I smiled and he gave a signal to the guards to open the gate for me.
I walked off and left the house. I checked my phone to see a message from Daniel, saying that he was already there. A smile crept into my face at the thought of him.
I was so eager to get there so I walked faster. I went to the usual path and it wasn't too long when I arrived at the river. Daniel was standing on the bridged. His hands clasped on the railings as he looked down in the river.
