I ended the call. Daniel and I are supposed to meet at the river today. A day has passed since my father's warning and it still hasn't left my mind. It bothered me, made me feel bad even. I don't know if I should tell it to Daniel or what. Is it necessary? What will I say?
'Hey Daniel, my dad just warned me about you, he was mad and it scared me a lot.'
I sighed, it sounds stupid. No matter how much I think this thing has to stop, I just couldn't bring myself to stop it. How can I possibly stop something that has grown? It's not easy to stop something that already started. I chose to start this, I chose to give the both of us a chance. I didn't think about it seriously in the past but now I've been thinking a lot about this.
I told myself before that I'll just go with the flow and here I am. Fate brought me here, my decision brought me here. I should stand on my choices in the past.
I should choose my feelings this time.
I stood up and changed my clothes. I just got home from school when Daniel called me, saying he wants to meet up. Dad is overseas for a business trip so it's a perfect time to sneak out. I took my bag and put everything I need inside before going straight outside. Mom was always with dad whenever he goes to a business trip so I was alone in the house.
I told the guards I'll be meeting a friend and that I won't need guards or drivers for today. They seemed a bit hesitant to let me go but I managed to persuade them after a long pleading. Dad must've told them to be strict around me. He doesn't know I'm capable of making them say 'yes' to me all the time.
I walked towards my usual path to find Daniel sitting on the bench. His back was turned against me. He was leaning on the seat and his broad shoulders were so inviting. He didn't seem to notice me when I stopped behind him. I was about to push him when his phone rang. The caller's ID was plastered on his screen.
Kim Minji.
I frowned at the name. He immediately declined the call. I leaned on his ears before speaking, "Why didn't you answer that?" He jumped a bit and I laughed at his reaction. He tuned to me, hands on his chest as he looked at me still shocked. "Don't do that!" He snapped but I just kept laughing. His face was priceless.
My laugh died down and I saw him frowning at me. "Aigoo, Kang Daniel." I shook my head then grinned. I sat beside him. "It's not funny." He said with a slight frown. "Don't worry, you still looked cute." I said before pinching his cheeks.
"I'm not cute, I'm sexy." He bragged then wiggled his brows at me. I scrunched up my nose and looked at him weirdly. "I'm serious." He added but I just stared back at him blankly. I'm not convinced even though, yes, he does look sexy sometimes.
Just sometimes, I keep telling myself.
"Do you wanna see how sexy I can be?" He asked before smirking. "Oh please, Daniel. Stop with the sexiness promotions." I rolled my eyes at him and I was surprised when his expression suddenly changed. His looked at me intently. Then he leaned on me, "What are you doing?" I asked before backing away.
"What do you think?" He whispered before staring at my lips. His mouth opened a bit and I looked at him in shock. My heart started beating wild inside my chest. My breathing started to get heavy so I looked away. I felt his breath on the side of my face. His lips brushed on my cheeks up to my ear. I closed my eyes, "How's that for sexy?" He whispered huskily on my ear.
