ALSO,

As you could probably tell, I've taken kind of a hiatus from my stories, from this whole website actually. It's probably because not much is happening at this point and it's not easy to write at all. I'm trying to get back to it, plus more things are coming up for this story in the chapters to come!

So be prepared.

ANYWAYS

Chapter 17

I started walking to LA Cafe to meet Kellin. Hopefully he could find his way without too much trouble.

Since I didn't have a car, and had no other form of transportation, I had to walk. I guess if I really wanted to, I could have directed Kellin to my house and he could have driven. However, I would rather eat dirt.

So I spent my twenty minute walk gathering my thoughts as to what I would say to him when we met up.

Hi.

No... Too casual.

Welcome

Too formal.

How you doin'?

I'm not Fonzi...

Hey.

I guess that'll do.

I turned a corner, and saw a bus stop in the distance. I never saw a point in having busses in such a small town. Outside of the town, there wasn't anything for a few miles but forests and grass planes. Pretty much everything was within a reasonable walking distance, so there wasn't much need for cars period. Let alone buses.

As I got closer to the bus stop I started to make out a white figure.

Or more like a... White hoodie

I panicked. I crossed the street, not looking where I was going, or for any oncoming cars, I just ran.

In doing so, I heard a quick squeal of car tires and a loud honk. I didn't do more than glance at it, though. All I cared about was getting away from he-who-shall-not-be-named. It sounds selfish, malicious, and idiotic, but I just genuinely did not care. If I was as far away from a suicide as possible, I was happy.

However it was only once I had successfully crossed the street that I had realized that man I had thought to be Jeff, was just a regular guy in a white hoodie.

What. Fucking. Fun.

By this point I was so done that I thought about just going home, but I couldn't just leave Kellin there wondering like a clueless kitten about where I was or what was going on. So I kept walking.

~~~~~~
Finally.
I arrived at LA Cafe in one piece. And as expected, Kellin was nowhere in sight.
I sat down at one of the many empty tables and checked my phone to see if he had tried to contact me. Instantly an Alert appeared on my screen, making my phone sing and obnoxious beeping noise.
"You get those annoying things too?"
I looked up to see Kellin standing over me. "Oh! Uhm, hey."
