Ari's POV :
I wake up to the sound of loud crying. I hear Aaron say something that sounded like "its your turn" so I got out of the bed and walked into the nursery.
I picked up Dylan and headed into the kitchen for a bottle. I'm still half asleep so my movements are a bit slow. I don't notice that Aaron walked into the room and was in the process of taking Dylan so I can finish making his bottle.
"You look like crap babe." He says swaying and looking down at the baby.
"Then don't look at me, look at your son." I say with a hint of amusement.
He doesn't respond as I pass him the bottle and we head back to the bedroom. Not long after Dylan falls asleep inbetween us. We both face him and stare for a while.
"He's so perfect..." I whisper as I kiss his forehead and look at Aaron who is smiling, the morning beginning to show through the curtains.
"You both are perfect." He grabs my have slowly, careful not to move the baby. He kisses my hand and we keep eye contact for a long time.
I start chuckling and he gives me a questioning look. "What ?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Earlier you said I looked like crap and then you say I'm perfect...you need to make up your mind." I laugh a bit more.
"You always ruin the romantic moments..." He tries not to smile as he turns his back towards me.
"Fine, don't face me. I'll cuddle with this little heartbreaker...he's cuter than you anyway." I say as I get comfortable with Dylan in my arms. He sighs, as if he knows I'm hugging him.
Aaron faces me again and after a while we both fall asleep.
Derek's POV :
I wake up to Buddy licking my face. "Awww boy, its early...shoo..." I roll over but he just lies himself over my legs. "Okay, okay. Let's go." I stand up and get his food ready. I get dressed and put his leash on.
We walk for a little while and take a break at a park. My phone starts ringing.
"Hello ?" I answer.
"Are you coming over for dinner tonight ?" She asks, there's a lot of background noise so she must be busy.
"Well duhhh. We've planned this since Halloween. Plus you'd kill me if I missed Thanksgiving with you guys." I say petting Buddy.
"Okay good. Bring Buddy, Anthony has been begging to see him. And be here in there hours !!! Okay I gotta go, Anthony is having from the curtains singing Tarzan...bye !"
"Bye." I put my phone back on my lap. Buddy makes a sigh like sound. "I know...those people are crazy...I don't know why we hang out with them either."
Ari's POV :
I can't believe this is Dylan's first Thanksgiving. I'm so happy. Life couldn't be any better.
Derek's POV :
I go up to the doorstep and knock on the door. "Hiii Uncle Derek !" Anthony yells and hugs me.
"Hey Little Man. How is it in there ?" I look past him to the small party taking place behind him.
"Its busy...Moms going crazy...Dads going crazy because Mom if going crazy...normal stuff !" He says as he leads me into the kitchen.
"No, you're getting your butt over here because you promised me you'd come ! I will drop this turkey right now and drag you out of your bat cave so help me Jesus."
