"Excuse me for a second." Taehyung smiled at the people he was talking to and made his way down the hall to the front entrance. He had been waiting near the entrance ever since the party started just to make sure he caught her coming in. He talked to people he didn't know about useless things just to make time go by until she arrived. He almost laughed when he saw her duck away like a toddler getting caught doing something they weren't suppose to. He didn't have a game plan tonight but he knew he had to set things straight with her. He couldn't continue on everyday ignoring her and pretending nothing happened because something did happen and he wanted it to happen again. He reached the top of the stairs and saw her entering his office. "What are you doing?" he muttered as he walked towards it. When he reached his office he leaned against the door frame and watched her as she read over a piece of paper before placing it on his desk. Even with leggings and a jean jacket she still looked gorgeous to him. Seeing her all comfy in her casual clothes made him want to scoop her up and wrap her in a blanket. He could only imagine how glorious she was when she dressed up.

"Whatcha got there?" he finally asked making her jump. She turned to look at him, her eyes wide and he could tell she was very nervous. He raised an eyebrow and closed the door behind him before approaching his desk. She didn't say a word when he picked up her letter of resignation and began reading it over. "Don't you think this is a little extreme?" he chuckled placing it back down on his desk. He knew he was probably the reason why she was quitting and felt guilty for it. She looked at her shoes and wished she could fast forward time. "I didn't really need this job anyways; it was just for extra cash." She said softly and she could feel his intense stare burning a hole through her head. Taehyung sat on the edge of his desk and clasped his hands together, "And this decision has nothing to do with me?" he asked. Her hair was tied up into a high ponytail and she had on white sneakers. He could see her wearing this outfit out with him to go grocery shopping or having a casual dinner date somewhere late at night. Taehyung was so close to his goal but he felt so far away from it as well.
"Of course it has something to do with you! With us!" she exasperated and then let out a long exhale. Now what was she going to say? That she wanted to kiss him again? That she wanted to be him? She had too many things in her mind and she couldn't pinpoint exactly what she wanted from him and what she wanted to tell him. "It was just confusing okay? I didn't know if you just wanted to get in my pants or if you wanted something else. I know your track record too so...I don't know-and it was also so sudden!" she crossed her arms and stood in front of him feeling a sense of relief for finally telling him the truth. She waited for what seemed like forever for Taehyung's response because he just sat there with his hands clasped. Taehyung understood where she was coming from but he wished she realized that he didn't just open up to anyone. He also understood that it was his own doing but he had another chance to prove to her that he wasn't what she thought he was. "I really like you," he finally said, "I've liked you for a long time and I just haven't had the guts to be honest with you. It's just easier to get your attention by acting like a douche. I knew that you'd never want me so the only other option was to fuck around with other people because the one I really wanted didn't reciprocate my feelings." Her heart started to race and a sensation of warmth and embarrassment began to spread across her body. Never had a guy been so upfront with her about their feelings and she felt so flattered and shy like a high school teenager. "All I do is replay that night in my head and I wish I had done things differently and said things sooner so please give me a chance to do that now? You are literally a fucking diamond in the rust and I'm just always at a loss when it comes to you." Taehyung felt like he was going to throw up after spilling out everything he had been hiding for 2 months. If she walked away now, he would be devastated but he would have no other choice but to respect her wishes. His heart started to pound harder than it ever had when she placed her hands on his thighs and pressed her body against him. They looked at each other and not a single word had to be said before their lips finally met. Her lips were still so soft and he could taste the strawberry scented lip balm she was wearing. This time he was the one to pull away, his face inches away from hers, "Wait so do you want to be with me?" she stared at his plump lips wanting nothing but to kiss them again, "Yeah I think so." She laughed and he rolled his eyes before giving her another kiss. "We should get back to the party." He said after pulling away again. She frowned and shook her head, "I can't go out there wearing this." She laughed when he looked up at the ceiling in thought like he did that night. "Oh I know!" he exclaimed just like he did before. "Let's go to my room and watch movies. I'll even sneak up some food for us, sound good?" he asked excitedly. She grimaced at the thought of his room and he rolled his eyes, "I don't do anything up there I promise. No one is allowed up there but me, and now you." I blushed and looped her arms around his neck, "Sounds like a good plan then."

The end

Wow thats stressful.
