Chapter 8 (Edited sort-of)

Autumn blinked open her eyes. She sat up and screamed.

She was on a strange purple and silver motorcycle with a woman in front of her, steering it. They were going as fast as light, driving down the road. Multiple motorcycles followed theirs. 

"What-what's going on?" Autumn yelled. She was beginning to panic. Was this Team Rogue? Where was Luxray?

"Hi, my name is Officer Molly." She turned around. She had blonde hair done in a big braid in the back and blue eyes. "We're rescuing you,"

"Where's my Luxray?!!" Autumn shouted, her heart beating faster and faster. "What did you do to him?!!!"

"Do you mean Luxio? His electrical charge almost killed a powerful Jolteon, and he used so much he shifted back to an easier form to maneuver. My Espeon has got him covered." Officer Molly explained, pointed at the motorcycle next to theirs.

Espeon was using Physic to work the motorcycle and to hold Luxio onto the motorcycle. Luxio was back to just a normal Luxio, but he was fast asleep.

"We are a team of detectives and officers trying to stop Team Rogue. That's those bad guys' name they call themselves. Now we know that their hiding place is in Jubilife City, we could easily take them down. You could help us if you'd like." Officer Molly offered.

"I-I umm sure?" Autumn said, astonished at the sight of Luxio again. "But I don't know. Some of those bad guys are my friends, and I just want them to turn back to what they used to be like. I'm sure they are using mind control to use them, same with the pokemon!" 

"You can try to convince them, but Team Rogue is a ruthless team of people with black hearts. You can't trust them." Officer Molly said.

Autumn sat in silence for a while.

"You wanna know what their plan really is?" Officer Molly asked.

Autumn nodded.

"We were able to get some information from a girl called Rose. She said that they needed the pokemon to use their electricity to power a device that could fix everything in the world. But with more investigating, we found out she had been tricked, and that the real reason was the complete opposite. It was a doomsday device that would kill everything and anything in Sinnoh, except the people touching a particular button." Officer Molly explained. Autumn twitched at the word 'Rose'. "We plan to shut down the device, free all the pokemon, and take down Team Rogue."

Autumn sat still for a moment in shock. Rose really wasn't a criminal, was she? She had been tricked. A few minutes later, Officer Molly announced they were there.

It was a medium-sized building with two huge blue doors in the front. Autumn got off the motorcycle and rushed over to Luxio. He blinked twice before seeing her and then grinned from ear to ear. "Luxio!!" Luxio cried out. "I missed you too buddy," Autumn replied.

They walked inside, Officer Molly leading the way. "This is the front office, where we check in." She pointed to a small blue desk with a short black haired woman behind it. "Oh, by the way, you can call me Molly. Next, you go left and here is the workroom, where we study where Team Rogue could be hiding. This is where I work."

 They passed through a set of doors and entered a room with a bulletin board covered in papers and some computers beside it. They left the room and entered another room, but bigger.

 "This is where we study their weapons and gadgets. One of our team members managed to snatch a whole supply of it." The room had tables filled with different devices, all red or black. Two men were working in there by taking apart one of the guns. 

"Now this last room is where we plan to attack Team Rogue and how to take down to a doomsday device." Multiple people sat at a long table discussing stuff and next to it was a whiteboard covered in plans. They exited it and entered another room. 

"This is where you can sleep for tonight. All of us officers have our own rooms to study personal stuff in and if we are gonna stay the night, and luckily we have an extra!" Molly opened the door and turned on the light. It was a small room with a blue desk and a wide window. Across from the desk, there was a small blue bed with a fluffy white pillow. It smelled like blueberries.

"I'll just let you two get settled and I'll be on my way." Molly left the room with a small wave and the swish of her navy blue skirt.

Autumn realized she was still wearing her pink dress and suddenly felt very embarrassed. She quickly changed, shutting the blinds of the window. It was late at night so she changed into her pajamas. She crawled into bed, still holding Luxio and drifted off to sleep.
