Chapter 24

Jc's pov
I woke up in bed and checked my phone to see what time it was, it was 12:00 and lily was already up.

I got out of bed and got dressed then headed out of my room. I shuffled into the kitchen and sat down next to lily who was sitting on the stool.

"Hi." she said.

"Hi." I smiled.

"How are you felling today?" I asked her.

"Good." she replied.

"How about this, after you finish eating we get out penny boards and go for a ride." I suggested.

"Yea that sounds fun." she replied.

Lily's pov

I went upstairs to my room and got dressed me and jc are going skate boarding soon. I grabbed my skate board and walked back down stairs.

"Ready to go?" Jc asked me.

"Yep" I replied.

We walked out of the front door and rode down the driveway.

I've been thinking lately how lucky I am to survive being hit by a truck. Really lucky.
