Chapter 24 (REPOST)

The whole rest of my break was spent with Dan; us watching movies, playing games, helping either his dad or my mom and Tatiana. Today was Saturday, and my mom told me I had to spend the whole day with her and Tatiana on Sunday. Now don't get me wrong, my mom and Tatiana are pretty cool and make things fun, but it's always better with Dan. So now, we were just snuggling together, enjoying each other's presence.

My phone started ringing from my pocket. Dan groaned and got off of me so I could see who it was. I saw it was Louise and answered it and put it on speaker.

"Hey, Louise! You're on speaker. Dan, say hi." I said cheerfully while Dan frowned and hugged himself from lack of warmth. "Hi Louise" he grumbled. "Hey, Phil! Hey Dan. So, I am going to be having a party today because it's the end of break. Do you think you two will be able to come?" she asked. I looked at Dan and tiled my head as if to ask 'I don't know, can we?' He just half nodded- half shrugged his shoulder and looked away. "I'll take that as a yes. So yea, we'll be there." I said into the phone.

"Great! its only 1PM now, so come to my place around 9 or 10. See ya th-" she said but was cut off when Dan reached over and ended the call with a satisfied smile. "What was that for?" I asked. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know. Now come here and hug me!" He looked down, stuck out his arms, and made grabbing motions with his hands. I sighed and smiled before jumping on him and tackling him in a hug. He squealed and I started tickling him.

After 5 minutes of me tickling him and hearing his beautiful laugh, we stopped and went back to cuddling.

"So Dan," I said as I was walking back into my room. "How does this shirt look?" We were getting ready for Louise's party and Dan was helping me pick out what shirt to wear.

"Phil, you already know I am going to say you look great in all of them! But honestly, I liked the dark green one the best." he told me. I nodded and went back into the bathroom to change. My dark green T-shirt was form-fitting and had a little pocket with a tiny bear on it. I came back out and Dan was looking very bored and ready to go. I mean I understand, I had him doing this for 10 minutes. 

When I came back in, Dan stood up. He was wearing black pants with a dark red long sleeved shirt. "Lookin' good, beautiful." He said and winked. "Shut up, handsome. Anyway, ready to go?" I replied. He nodded and I grabbed my keys then we headed towards the door. I didn't bring my strips because either Dan or I would be making my drink, and I trusted Dan more than enough to know that he wouldn't do anything weird to my drink. "BYE MOM, BYE TATIANA!" I yelled then shut the door.

When we got to Louise's house, the music was very loud. Dan smiled at me and squeezed my hand for reassurance. '"WAIT, WHY ARE WE EVEN HERE? YOU HATE LARGE CROWDS!" he said- well yelled to me. "YOU'RE RIGHT, BUT WE'RE HERE FOR LOUISE" I replied. He just shrugged his shoulders and started walking to a less crowded space. We were talking about anything and everything.

Devon's POV (earlier that day)

"I wanna go to a partyyyy" I whined to Jessica. I was spending the day at her house and we were in her room. "I do too, but neither of us can have one and no one else is having one today. So what are we going to do?" she said. "Hey, why don't you go ask that chick with the blond hair and pink tips that's downstairs of she can have one?" I suggested. "And why can't you go ask her?" Jessica said. "Well, I'm the guest. You're supposed to treat me like royalty!" I said. I flipped my hair and did a sassy pose. We both laughed and Jessica stood up. "Well then, Queen Devon, I'll be right back." She bowed then left the room.
