[double update because its almost 5AM and i'm really bored.
ahh, I just love insomnia, don't you?]

We walked hand in hand all the way to my house. We went to my house because Dan's father called and said that he could spend the night at my house because he was working late. We walked in and up the stairs to find my mom and Tatiana working at the table, papers spread out everywhere. My mom had her glasses on and she rarely ever wore them, so I knew that this was serious. As we passed, my mom pulled me to the side. "Dan, honey, go upstairs and wait for Phil. He'll be up in a second." my mom told him. He nodded then left up to my room. "Phil, I want you and Dan to spend as much time together over the next week, okay? And please try not to be loud. Me and Tatiana will be working very hard on something."  my mom explained. I was going to ask her what the big project was, but she pushed me away and went back to her work.

I went upstairs and Dan was lying face first on my bed, moving his hips to an imaginary song. I flopped down next to him and turned myself towards him. I expected him to ask me about what my mom told me, but instead he flipped himself around and pointed to my ceiling. "Look. You have lots of dots on your ceiling. If we're ever bored, we could just sit up and count them." he said, with slight fascination in his voice. I chuckled and said. "You're tired, aren't you?" He shook his head and turned his body towards me. "You're really pretty, ya know that?" he said out of no where.

"Why yes, I do. I've been told many times by someone that I love." I replied, looking straight into Dan's eyes. "Can you please describe this person to me?" he asked.
 I smiled and said, "Well, they have short brown fringe, the most beautiful brown eyes, a mesmerizing laugh, and an angelic voice. Their clothing style suits them perfectly, their personality was hand-crafted to attract the best kind of people, and their whole life should only be filled with amazing deeds, because that's what this person has done to others They're really tall and very awkward, but I find it extremely adorable. They have cute dimples, one I like to call Derek. The overall way that they present themselves is so admirable. They have so much confidence and can pretty much to anything. They're the one that I love, the one that I adore, the one I call if I'm having a bad time. The one that I trust my entire life with, the one that protects me and is fearless for me. This person I can't live without. They're 'My Handsome Young Man', and I wouldn't trade them for the world."

I finished and looked up at Dan. He had a hand covering his mouth and a few tears going down his face. He tackled me in a huge hug and buried his face into my chest. I hugged back and we stayed like that for a bit. He lifted his head up and started kissing all over my face. "Phil, I love you. More than you would ever know." he said, looking directly at me. "I love you too, Bear. More than you would ever know.

//////one week later\\\\\\\

Me and Dan did exactly what my mom had told us to. We spent the whole week together, basically joined at the hip. We were always together after school and in the mornings. The only time we were apart was in classes, which were the worst hours of the day. Not only was I forced to be in a classroom with a bunch of homophobic idiots, I was apart from Dan. When we would see each other at lunch, we would run up and hug each other every single day. And I did not get tired of it at all.

We were going to go to Dan's house today so we could play Mario Kart in his room, but I got a call from my mom. "Hi mum!" I answered. "Hey Phil, hey Dan. Listen, I need you to come home and pack your bags." she said. All the color drained from my face and Dan stopped us. He looked over at me worried. "W-why?" I asked. "Just come do it Phil, and fast." she replied. "WAIT, can Dan come with?" I shouted before she hung up. "Erm, sure. As long as he helps." she said and hung up. I turned to Dan who still had a worried look on his face.

"What happened?" he asked. "I don't know, but I need to go pack my bags." I replied sadly. His face fell and he grabbed my hand. He headed away from Dan's house and towards mine. When we got there, the house was frantic. I saw Tatiana and my mom both running around and picking up things from different rooms. "What's going on?" I said. My mum came up to us, panting form running around. "There's no time to explain. But you need to go pack a suitcase with all your most important items. You can't bring everything, so just bring the thing that you need the most. We'll get you new clothes and all that jazz when we get to the new place. Now go!" She pushed me and Dan upstairs before we could ask anything.

I got my suitcase out of my closet and began throwing my stuff in there. Chargers, laptop, clothes, etc. Dan helped out and we were both really sad and angry. Why didn't she tell us sooner?! That's why she told me and Dan to spend the week together. Because it would be the last week we had together. Once my suitcase was filled, I rolled it down the stairs with the help of Dan. Tatiana and my mom were both putting their coats and shoes on. The kitchen was still fully furnished and the couches and furniture remained where they were. "C'mon Phil! Hurry and get your stuff in my car." I put my coat on then brought my suitcase into my mom's trunk. I turned around and saw that Dan had tears streaming down his face, and I did too.

Tatiana and my mom came out and put their things into the trunk. "Phil, I know that you an Dan are both sad and very confused. We'll explain it to you in the car, and you can message Dan about it.  We'll give you two a few minutes to say your goodbye's." my mom said and got into the car, followed by Tatiana. I turned to Dan who looked like he was crying harder, and I was too. I pulled him into a hug and whispered, "I'm gonna miss you, Bear. I'm gonna miss your soft kisses and amazing hugs and your cringe jokes. I'm gonna miss you so fucking much."

"I'm gonna miss you too, Lion. I'm gonna miss your adorable laugh and beautiful eyes. I'm gonna miss how you cheer me up when I'm down." Dan whispered back. I cried harder. He gave me one last kiss before pulling away and looking me in the eyes.

"Stay strong, Lion."

"Stay strong, Bear."

I made a heart shape with my hands. I'm guessing that Dan did too, but I couldn't see as well through the continuous tears falling down my face. I backed away and got into the car. I turned around and Dan was still making the heart shape with his hands. I leaned out the window as my mom was driving off and yelled, "I LOVE YOU, DAN HOWELL!" He smiled and yelled beck, "I LOVE YOU, PHIL LESTER."

We drove off, and didn't look back at all.

But no matter how far apart we are,

no matter how much space is between us;

No matter what kind of people come and challenge us,

Daniel Howell will always be "My Handsome Young Man".
